Notice of Result and Shortlisting for CBTST
The Railway Recruitment Board (RRB), Muzaffarpur has announced the results of the 2nd Stage Computer Based Test (CBT-II) conducted on December 20, 2025, for the posts of Non-Technical Popular Categories (NTPC) (Under-Graduate) against CEN No. 06/2024. Candidates have been provisionally shortlisted for the Computer Based Typing Skill Test (CBTST) based on their merit in the CBT-II.
Shortlisting Criteria
- Candidates are shortlisted based on their performance in the 2nd Stage CBT.
- Category-wise shortlisting is based on marks in CBT-II, provided the candidate has scored more than the cut-off marks in CBT-I for their community.
- Candidates shortlisted under reservation benefits (OBC(NCL)/SC/ST/EWS, PwBD, ExSM) will continue to be considered under their respective categories for all subsequent recruitment stages.
- The final shortlisting for Document Verification will be based on the performance in both the 2nd Stage CBT and the CBTST (as applicable).
How to Check Results and Scorecard
Candidates can view their individual results and scorecards by logging into the RRB portal using their Registration Number and Date of Birth. This facility will be available from 23.01.2026, 07:00 PM onwards. Upon logging in, candidates can also view their question paper along with the correct answers.
Important Information for Candidates
- CBTST Date: The date for the CBTST for the provisionally shortlisted candidates will be notified in due course.
- Provisional Candidature: The candidature of all shortlisted candidates is purely provisional. It is liable to be cancelled at any stage of recruitment if any inconsistency, deficiency, or malpractice is found. Being called for the CBTST does not entitle a candidate to an appointment in the Railways.
- Corrections: While all care has been taken in preparing the list, RRB reserves the right to rectify any inadvertent or typographical errors. RRB will not entertain correspondence from unsuccessful candidates.
- Updates: Candidates are advised to regularly visit the official RRB website for all updates.
Important: Beware of touts who may misguide candidates with false promises of selection. The recruitment process is fully computerized, and selection is based solely on the merit of the candidates.
