Centralized Employment Notice (CEN) No. 05/2024 (Non-Technical Popular Categories (Graduate))

This notice announces the result of the 2nd Stage Computer Based Test (CBT-II) and the provisional shortlisting of candidates for the Computer Based Aptitude Test (CBAT) and Typing Skill Test (TST) for Non-Technical Popular Categories (Graduate) posts against CEN 05/2024.

  1. The 2nd Stage Computer Based Test (CBT) was conducted by Railway Recruitment Boards on October 13, 2025.
  2. Candidates whose Roll Numbers are listed in the original notice have been provisionally shortlisted to appear in the CBAT/TST based on their merit in the 2nd Stage CBT. Category-wise shortlisting for CBAT and TST is based on CBT-2 marks, provided candidates secured more marks than the CBT-1 cut-off in their respective communities.
  3. Candidates shortlisted with reservation benefits (OBC(NCL)/SC/ST/EWS, PwBD, and ExSM) will continue to be considered under their respective categories for all subsequent stages of the recruitment process.
  4. The subsequent shortlisting for Document Verification will be based on the candidates' performance in both 2nd Stage CBT and CBAT/TST (as applicable).
  5. The CBAT/TST for provisionally qualified candidates for posts under CEN 05/2024 is tentatively scheduled for the 5th week of December 2025. Candidates will be informed about their Exam City 10 days prior to the CBAT/TST through the official RRB websites, SMS, and Email. E-call letters will be available for download 4 days prior to the CBAT/TST date.
  6. Candidates can view their individual scores and qualifying status for CBAT/TST by logging into the link on the official RRB website using their Registration Number and Date of Birth. They can also view their question paper with marked correct answers. Candidature is purely provisional and is subject to cancellation at any stage if inconsistencies/deficiencies in data or malpractice come to RRB's notice. Mere calling a candidate for CBAT/TST does not guarantee an appointment in the Railways.
  7. While all care has been taken in preparing the list, RRB reserves the right to rectify any inadvertent errors or typographical/printing mistakes. RRB will not entertain any correspondence from unsuccessful candidates.
  8. Candidates are advised to regularly visit RRB's official website for updates. The Roll Numbers of provisionally qualified candidates for CBAT/TST are arranged horizontally in ascending order and not in order of merit.
