Application Process & General Instructions

  1. Registration is complete only upon successful online fee deposit by the last date.

Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification (As on 2025-08-31)

  • Graduate (any discipline) from a Government recognized University or Institution.
  • AND
  • MBA (Finance) / PGDBA / PGDBM / MMS (Finance) / CA / CFA / ICWA.

Post-Qualification Experience (As on 2025-08-31)

  • Minimum 3 years of post-qualification experience in Corporate Credit/High Value Credit as an executive in a Supervisory / Management role in a Scheduled Commercial Bank / Associate or Subsidiary of a Scheduled Commercial Bank / or a Public Sector or listed financial institution / Company, after successful completion of MBA (Finance)/PGDBA/PGDBM/MMS (Finance)/CA/CFA/ICWA.
  • Experience should specifically be in appraisal / assessment of Credit proposals for medium/large Corporates.
  • A declaration/undertaking regarding post-basic qualification experience must be uploaded with the application.

Specific Skills Required

  • Analysis of Balance Sheet / Appraisal / Assessment of Credit Proposal, Credit monitoring etc.

CIBIL Requirements

  • Candidates who have defaulted in repayment under any lending arrangement with Banks/NBFCs/Financial Institutions (including credit card dues) and have not regularized/repaid their outstanding by the date of issuance of appointment letter are ineligible.
  • If outstanding is repaid but CIBIL status is not updated by the date of joining, candidates must get it updated or produce NOCs from the lender.

Job Profile & Key Responsibility Areas (KRAs)

Job Profile

  • Carrying out Due Diligence on Credit Proposals.
  • Timely completion of reviews/renewals as Appraiser, including credit risk assessment.
  • Securing maximum marks for the Asset Management Team (AMT) in credit audit.
  • Assisting Relationship Manager in achieving Budgeted growth in advances for the AMT.
  • Adhering to Turn-Around-Time (TAT) for processing proposals.
  • Ensuring ABS (Asset Based Security) considered for proposals are as filed with ROCs.
  • Ensuring achievement of satisfactory RAROC (Risk Adjusted Return on Capital).

Responsibilities

  • Pre-Sanction Stage: KYC compliance, due diligence reports, data/information collection, interaction with Key Officials, legal/valuation report verification, ROC search, compilation of opinion reports/CIRs, pre-sanction visits, appraisal of credit proposals, D&B/Credit reports scrutiny, external credit rating, support to RM for presentations, credit related notes.
  • Post-Sanction Stage: Preparation of arrangement letter, attending consortium meetings, FFR/Financial Statements analysis, rectifying irregularities, credit correspondence, periodical review of TLs, periodical inspections.
  • Miscellaneous: Tracking and monitoring industry developments.

Key Responsibility Areas (KRAs) (Illustrative)

  • Number of new clients onboarded.
  • Year-on-Year (YoY) growth in CASA deposits.
  • Transaction Banking targets.
  • Activation of transaction banking products.
  • Other income / Forex remuneration / LC income / BG Income.
  • Supply Chain Finance targets and utilization.
  • Corporate salary packages - new accounts opened.
  • Number of proposals put up for sanction – turnaround time success rate.
  • Quality of credit appraisal and risk analysis.
  • Quality of Credit portfolio.
  • Achievement of targets relating to review/renewal of limits.
  • Observations of various audit report and compliance thereof.

Remuneration & Probation Period

  • Grade: Middle Management Grade Scale - III
  • Pay Scale: Rs (85920-2680/5-99320-2980/2-105280)
  • Probation Period: 6 months
  • Perquisites: Officials will be eligible for DA, HRA, CCA, Provident Fund, Contributory Pension Fund (NPS), Leave Fare Concession (LFC), Medical Facility, and other perquisites as per rules in force.

Selection Process

  • Shortlisting: Merely fulfilling minimum qualification and experience does not guarantee an interview call. The Bank's shortlisting committee will decide the parameters and the number of candidates to be shortlisted. The Bank's decision is final.
  • Interview: The interview will carry 100 marks. Qualifying marks will be decided by the Bank.
  • Merit List: Prepared in descending order based on interview scores. In case of a tie, candidates will be ranked according to their age in descending order.
