Information for Shortlisted Candidates for Computer Based Typing Skill Test (CBTST)

  1. The second stage Computer Based Test (CBT-2) was conducted on October 13, 2025.
  2. The result of CBT-2 was published on the official websites of RRBs on December 15, 2025.
  3. The Computer Based Typing Skill Test (CBTST) for candidates shortlisted in CBT-2 is tentatively scheduled for December 28, 2025.
  4. The link to view the exam city and date, and to download the travel authority for SC/ST candidates, will be made available on the RRB websites 10 days before the examination.
  5. The downloading of e-call letters will commence 4 days before the exam date mentioned in the exam city and date information link.
  6. Candidates shortlisted for CBTST must select their typing language (English/Hindi) through the link provided on the official website of the concerned RRB. If a candidate does not select a typing language within the stipulated time, English will be the default typing language for typing.
  7. Candidates are advised to choose the language option carefully. Once chosen, the option cannot be changed under any circumstances. No further correspondence in this regard will be entertained.
  8. PwBD candidates eligible for exemption from the typing skill test are advised to upload a valid medical certificate using the candidate login via the grievance/helpdesk portal by 18:00 on December 26, 2025, or physically submit their valid medical certificate at the examination center on the day of the examination.
  9. Aadhaar-linked biometric verification of candidates will be conducted at the examination center before entry. Candidates are required to bring their original Aadhaar card.
  10. For the latest updates related to the recruitment process, candidates are advised to refer only to the official websites of RRBs. Please do not be misled by unverified sources.
  11. Candidates are cautioned against touts who may mislead them with false promises of jobs in exchange for illegal benefits. Selection in RRBs is based on computer-based examination, and recruitment is solely based on the merit of the candidates.
