Introduction
The Office of the District Program Officer, Kasganj, has invited online applications for the contractual, honorarium-based vacant posts of Anganwadi Workers in various child development projects in urban/rural areas of the district. The recruitment process is being conducted through the departmental website http://upanganwadibharti.in as per the government order dated September 17, 2025.

Eligibility Criteria and Instructions
- Eligibility: Only female candidates are eligible for these posts.
- Educational Qualification: The minimum educational qualification for the post of Anganwadi Worker is Intermediate (12th grade) or its equivalent. The maximum qualification can be post-graduation. The merit list will be prepared based on the marks obtained in the highest qualification.
- Age Limit: The minimum age for the applicant is 18 years and the maximum age is 35 years as of July 1, 2025. The date of birth mentioned in the high school mark sheet and certificate will be considered valid.
- Selection Preference:
- Preference will be given to a widow, legally divorced, or deserted woman from a family living below the poverty line (BPL) who is a resident of the same Gram Sabha/Ward (in urban areas).
- In the absence of the above, other women from BPL families of the same area will be considered.
- In the absence of BPL candidates, preference will be given to widows, divorced, or deserted women from families above the poverty line in the same area.
- If no suitable candidate is found in the above categories, other women from families above the poverty line in the same area will be considered.
Required Documents
- For Widows: Death certificate issued by the Gram Panchayat Officer/concerned Municipal Body and a certified copy of the family register.
- For Divorced/Deserted Women: A legal order issued by the Hon'ble High Court.
- Domicile and Caste Certificate: Digitally signed domicile and caste certificates issued online by the Tehsil will be valid.
- Income Certificate: An income certificate issued by a competent authority as per government orders will be required. The prescribed income limit for BPL families in rural and urban areas will be followed.
How to Apply
- Applications must be submitted online through the departmental website: http://upanganwadibharti.in.
- The online application portal will be open from November 25, 2025, to December 15, 2025, until 12:00 AM (midnight).
- Applicants must fill the online form carefully and upload clean, readable, self-attested copies of their documents.
- Any error, false, or fabricated information in the application will lead to its cancellation, for which the candidate will be solely responsible.
- After submitting the application, candidates should take a printout and verify it with their original documents. No offline corrections will be entertained.
