UPSC Combined Stenographers' (Grade 'B'/Grade 'I') Limited Departmental Competitive Examination Result 2019, 2020 & 2021

The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has announced the results of the written examination for the Combined Stenographers' (Grade ‘B’/Grade ‘I’) Limited Departmental Competitive Examination for the years 2019, 2020, and 2021.

Examination Details

The written examination was held on December 13th and 14th, 2025, followed by a qualifying shorthand test on December 20th, 27th, and 28th, 2025. Candidates who have qualified are now eligible for Part-II of the examination, which involves the evaluation of their service records. The results have been declared for the following categories for the year 2019:

  • Category IV
  • Category V
  • Category VI
  • Category VII
  • Category IX

Important Information

  • Provisional Candidature: The candidature of all qualified candidates is purely provisional and subject to review. If a candidate is found to be ineligible at any stage, their candidature will be cancelled.
  • Mark Sheets: The mark sheets of the candidates will be uploaded on the Commission's website within 15 days from the date of the final result publication and will remain available for 30 days.
  • Final Selection: The final selection will be based on instructions issued by the Department of Personnel & Training (vide O.M. No. 36012/16/2019-Estt.(Res.) dated 12.04.2022) and will be subject to the final outcome of Civil Appeal No. 629 of 2022.
