Result of 2nd Stage Computer Based Test (CBT-II) and Shortlisting for CBAT and TST for CEN No. 05/2024 NTPC (Graduate)

General Information

This notice announces the result of the 2nd Stage Computer Based Test (CBT-II) and the provisional shortlisting of candidates for the Computer Based Aptitude Test (CBAT) and Typing Skill Test (TST) for Non Technical Popular Categories (Graduate) posts against CEN No. 05/2024.

The CBT-II was conducted by the Railway Recruitment Boards on October 13, 2025.

Shortlisting Criteria

Candidates bearing the roll numbers listed in the official document have been provisionally shortlisted to appear in the CBAT/TST. The shortlisting is based on merit in the 2nd Stage CBT, provided candidates scored above the cut-off marks of CBT-I in their respective communities.

Candidates who availed reservation benefits (OBC(NCL)/SC/ST/EWS, PwBD, and ExSM) for CBAT/TST shortlisting will continue to be considered under those categories for all subsequent stages of the recruitment process.

Subsequent shortlisting for Document Verification will be based on the candidates' performance in both the 2nd Stage CBT and CBAT/TST (as applicable).

Important Dates & Accessing Information

  • CBAT/TST Tentative Schedule: 5th week of December 2025.
  • Exam City Intimation: Approximately 10 days prior to the CBAT/TST via the official RRBs website, SMS, and Email.
  • E-Call Letter Download: Available 4 days prior to the CBAT/TST date.

Candidates can view their individual scores, qualifying status for CBAT/TST, question paper, and correct answers by logging in on the official RRB website using their Registration Number and Date of Birth.

Candidature Status

The candidature of all qualified candidates for CBAT/TST is purely provisional. It is liable to be cancelled at any stage of recruitment or thereafter, in case of any inconsistency/deficiency in the furnished data or any malpractice noticed by the RRB. Merely being called for CBAT/TST does not guarantee appointment in the Railways.

Important Advice

  • The Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) reserves the right to rectify any inadvertent errors or typographical/printing mistakes.
  • No correspondence from unsuccessful candidates will be entertained.
  • Candidates are advised to regularly visit the official RRB website for updates.
  • The roll numbers of provisionally qualified candidates for CBAT/TST are arranged horizontally in ascending order, not in order of merit.
  • Candidates are warned against touts making false promises of selection through illegal means. The recruitment process is fully computerized, and selection is based solely on merit.
