Recruitment for Anganwadi Assistants

Special Instructions for Eligibility and Application Submission

  1. Gender: Only female candidates are eligible for these posts.
  2. Age Limit: Minimum 18 years and maximum 35 years as of July 01, 2025. Age will be calculated based on the date of birth mentioned in the High School mark sheet.
  3. Educational Qualification: Minimum Intermediate (12th pass) and maximum Post Graduate. The merit list will be prepared based on these qualifications.
  4. Residence, Income, and Caste Certificates: Applicants must have residence, income, and caste certificates of the same Gram Sabha/Ward (in urban areas). These certificates must be digitally signed at the tehsil level and should be verifiable online.
  5. Income Certificate: Income certificates issued by the competent authority as per Government Order No. 3959/1-9-11-Raj0-9 dated 30.09.2011 by Uttar Pradesh Government, Revenue Section-9, will be valid. Online verification should be possible. Compliance with the income limits prescribed for BPL (Below Poverty Line) in rural and urban areas as per Government Order No. 22/2015/2123/26-2-2015 dated 14 September 2015 (as amended) by Social Welfare Section-2, UP Government, will be followed.
  6. Divorced/Deserted Women: Legal orders issued by the Hon'ble Court will be valid.
  7. Widows: Certified copy of death certificate issued by Gram Panchayat Officer/concerned Municipal Body and family register will be valid.
  8. Selection Priority: The selection process will prioritize candidates in the following order:
    • First: Widows below the poverty line.
    • Second: Legally divorced/deserted women below the poverty line.
    • Third: Other female candidates below the poverty line.
    • If the above are not available: Widows above the poverty line, followed by legally divorced/deserted women above the poverty line, and then other female candidates above the poverty line.
  9. Application Mode: Only online applications free of errors, submitted through the departmental website https://upanganwadibharti.in, will be accepted. Offline/postal applications will not be considered.
  10. Document Upload: All self-attested documents that are clear and legible must be uploaded. These documents should match the information provided in the online form. Incomplete or erroneous applications will be rejected.
