Introduction The Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) Chandigarh has released the result of the 1st Stage Computer Based Test (CBT-I) and the provisional shortlist of candidates for the 2nd Stage CBT under CEN 05/2024 for Non-Technical Popular Categories (Graduate) posts. This shortlisting is based on the performance in CBT-I. ### Key Dates - CBT-1 Conducted: June 04, 2025 to June 24, 2025 - CBT-2 Tentatively Scheduled: 3rd week of October 2025 ### Shortlisting Details The roll numbers listed in the official document are those of candidates provisionally shortlisted to appear in the 2nd Stage CBT. - Shortlisting is based on merit in the 1st Stage CBT, taking into account the candidates' order of preference for various posts. - Candidates who availed reservation benefits (OBC(NCL)/SC/ST/EWS, PwBD and ExSM) for the 2nd Stage CBT will continue to be considered against these reserved categories for all subsequent recruitment stages. - The subsequent shortlisting for Document Verification will be based on the candidates' performance in the 2nd Stage CBT, and where applicable, in CBAT/TST (Computer Based Aptitude Test / Typing Skill Test). ### Important Information for CBT-2 - Exam City Intimation: Candidates will be advised about their exam city approximately 10 days prior to the 2nd Stage CBT through the official RRB website, SMS, and email. - E-Call Letter: The e-call letter for CBT-2 will be available for download 4 days prior to the CBT date. - Viewing Scores and Status: Candidates can view their individual scores and qualifying status for the 2nd Stage CBT by logging in to the official RRB website using their Registration Number and Date of Birth. They can also view their question paper, along with the correct answers. - Provisional Candidature: The candidature of all qualified candidates for the 2nd Stage CBT is purely provisional. It is subject to cancellation at any stage of recruitment or thereafter, in case of any inconsistency/deficiency in the furnished data or any malpractice coming to the notice of RRB. - Merely being called for the 2nd Stage CBT does not entitle a candidate to any appointment in the Railways. ### Rectification and Communication - While utmost care has been taken in preparing the shortlist, RRB reserves the right to rectify any inadvertent errors or typographical/printing mistakes. - RRB regrets its inability to entertain any correspondence from unsuccessful candidates. - Candidates are strongly advised to regularly visit the official RRB website for the latest updates and information. - The roll numbers of the provisionally qualified candidates for the 2nd Stage CBT are arranged horizontally in ascending order, not in order of merit. ### Warning Against Malpractice Candidates are cautioned against touts who may misguide them with false promises of securing jobs through illegal means. The recruitment process for RRB exams is fully computerized, and selection is based solely on merit. ### Total Shortlisted Candidates A total of 6159 candidates have been shortlisted for the 2nd Stage CBT.
