- PWBD reservation for AM (RDBS): Category (a) - 02, Category (b) - 02, Category (c) - 02, Category (d) & (e) - 01. All 7 PWBD vacancies for AM (RDBS) are open to General & Specialised disciplines.
- There is no reservation for PWBD candidates for Legal Service and Protocol & Security Service posts, but eligible PWBD candidates may apply without concessions except age relaxation.
- Candidates belonging to OBC 'Creamy Layer' are not entitled to OBC reservation and should apply under the ‘General’ (Gen) category.
Reservation for Economically Weaker Section (EWS)
EWS reservation is for persons not covered under SC/ST/OBC schemes, whose family gross annual income is below Rs. 8.00 lakh, and who fulfill Government of India criteria. Exclusions based on family assets apply (e.g., 5 acres or more agricultural land, 1000 sq ft or more residential flat, etc.).

Educational Qualification
All educational qualifications must be obtained from UGC-recognized Universities/Institutions and be completed on or before 01.11.2025 (i.e., final year/semester results must be declared by this date).

- i) General: Bachelor's Degree in any subject (60% marks, 55% for SC/ST/PWBD) OR Post Graduate degree/MBA/PGDM (55%, 50% for SC/ST/PWBD) OR CA/CS/CMA/ICWA OR Ph.D.

B. Assistant Manager in Grade ‘A’ (LEGAL SERVICE)
- Bachelor's Degree in Law recognized by UGC and Bar Council of India (60% aggregate) OR LLM Degree (55% aggregate).
C. Assistant Manager in Grade ‘A’ (Protocol & Security Service)
- Age: 25-40 years as on 01.11.2025 (born not earlier than 02 November 1985 and not later than 01 November 2000). No age relaxation for any category in this post.
- Experience: Officer with minimum 10 years' (5 years for PWBD candidates) Commissioned Service in the Army/Navy/Air Force holding a valid Ex-Serviceman Identity Card.
Age (as on 01.11.2025)
- Candidates must be between 21 and 30 years of age.
- Candidates must have been born not earlier than 02 November 1995 and not later than 01 November 2004.
Relaxation in Upper Age Limit:
- OBC applicants: 03 years
- SC/ST applicants: 05 years (if posts are reserved for them), Ex-servicemen.
- PWBD (General): 10 years
- PWBD (OBC): 13 years
- PWBD (SC/ST): 15 years
- No cumulative age relaxation will be available.
Selection Procedure
The selection process consists of a Preliminary Examination, Main Examination, Psychometric Test, and Interview.
A. Preliminary Examination Structure (Grade A RDBS/Legal)
- Total Questions/Marks: 200 Qs / 200 Marks
- Duration: Composite time of 120 Minutes
- Sections:
- Qualifying Section: Test of Reasoning (20 Qs, 20 Marks), English Language (30 Qs, 30 Marks), Computer Knowledge (20 Qs, 20 Marks), Quantitative Aptitude (20 Qs, 20 Marks), Decision Making (10 Qs, 10 Marks).
- Merit Section: General Awareness (20 Qs, 20 Marks), Eco & Soc. Issues (with focus on Rural India) (40 Qs, 40 Marks), Agriculture & Rural Development with Emphasis on Rural India (40 Qs, 40 Marks).
- Shortlisting for Mains exam will be based on marks scored in the Merit section only.
B. Mains Examination Structure (Grade A RDBS/Legal - Generalist & Specialist)
- Paper I: General English
- Type: Online Descriptive
- Questions: 3
- Marks: 100
- Duration: 90 Minutes
- Remarks: Descriptive answers to be typed using keyboard.
- Paper II: Economic and Social Issues and Agriculture & Rural Development (Generalist) / Stream Specific Paper (Specialist) / Legal (Legal)
- Objective: 30 Qs, 50 Marks, 30 Minutes
- Descriptive: 6 Qs (attempt 4), 50 Marks, 90 Minutes. Typed using keyboard, either in English or Hindi.
Psychometric Test (Mandatory):
- MCQ based - 90 minutes duration.
Interview:
- Grade A (RDBS/Legal/Protocol & Security): 50 Marks.
Process for Arriving at Scores & Final Selection
- Corrected scores will be calculated after applying a penalty of 1/4th of the marks assigned to that question for every wrong answer in both Phase I and Phase II.
- Cut-offs in Phase I and Phase II will be applied in two stages: on individual test scores and on total score.
- Merit lists will be prepared discipline-wise.
- For AM (RDBS/Legal), final selection and ranking are based on performance in the Phase-II Main Examination and Interview, provided candidates appear for the Psychometric Test.
- For AM (Protocol & Security), final selection and ranking are based on performance in the Phase-I Online Examination and Interview, provided candidates appear for the Psychometric Test.
- Tie-breaking rules: Higher marks in Main Exam (or Online Exam for Protocol & Security), then higher qualification/graduation marks, then senior in age.
- NABARD will analyze responses to detect patterns of similarity indicative of unfair means; any such detection will lead to cancellation of candidature.

For Grade A (RDBS) (General Discipline):
- Paper II – Economic & Social Issues and Agriculture & Rural Development (ESI & ARD): Covers topics like Indian Economy, Poverty Alleviation, Population Trends, Agriculture (characteristics, status, food security), Industry (policy, performance), Rural banking, Globalization, Social Structure, Human Development, Current Economic & Social Issues, Soil and Water Conservation, Water Resource, Farm and Agri Engineering, Plantation & Horticulture, Animal Husbandry, Fisheries, Forestry, Agriculture Extensions, Ecology and Climate Change, Rural Development, Panchayati Raj Institutions, and related government programs.

- Candidates must select one centre for Phase-I and one for Phase-II/III separately.

Emoluments and Service Conditions
- Pay Scale: Starting basic pay of Rs.44,500/- p.m. in the scale of Rs. 44500 – 2500(4) – 54500 – 2850(7) – 74450 – EB – 2850(4) – 85850 – 3300(1) – 89150 (17 Years) applicable to Officers in Grade 'A'.
- Gross Monthly Emoluments: Approximately Rs. 1,00,000/-.
- Perquisites: Include Bank's accommodation (subject to availability), reimbursement for vehicle maintenance, newspaper, internet, telephone, book grant, furnishing allowance, dispensary, medical expenses, festival advance, Leave Travel Concession, various loans and advances.
- Pension Scheme: Selected candidates will be governed by the Defined Contribution to New Pension Scheme (NPS), in addition to Gratuity and Group Term Insurance Plan.
- Probation: Initial appointment for 2 years, extendable for a further maximum of one year.
- Posting: Candidates are liable to be posted and transferred anywhere in India.

- Scan and upload a recent passport size colour photograph (4.5 cm x 3.5 cm), signature (black ink), left thumb impression (black or blue ink on white paper), and a handwritten declaration (black ink on white paper).
- Photograph: Dimensions 200 x 230 pixels, file size 20KB-50KB.
- Signature: Dimensions 140 x 60 pixels, file size 10KB-20KB.
- Left Thumb Impression: Dimensions 240 x 240 pixels (3 cm x 3 cm), file size 20KB-50KB.
- Handwritten Declaration: Dimensions 800 x 400 pixels (10 cm x 5 cm), file size 50KB-100KB. Text: “I................ .(Name of the candidate), hereby declare that all the information submitted by me in the application form is correct, true and valid. I will present the supporting documents as and when required.”
- Fill other details in the application form.
- Preview and verify the entire application form before clicking 'FINAL SUBMIT'.
- Proceed to the 'Payment' Tab and complete the online payment of fees.
- An e-Receipt will be generated upon successful transaction. Print the e-Receipt and online Application Form.

General Instructions
- Candidates in Government/Quasi-Government/Public Sector service must produce a ‘No Objection Certificate’ at the time of interview.
- Valid photo identity proof (e.g., PAN Card, Passport, Aadhar Card) must be presented during examinations and interviews, with the name matching the call letter.
- Mobile phones, calculators, or other electronic devices are strictly prohibited in the examination hall.
- Any dispute arising from the advertisement will be subject to the jurisdiction of courts/tribunals in Mumbai only.
- NABARD reserves the right to cancel or modify the recruitment process at any stage.
- Pre-Recruitment Training (PRT) will be provided in online mode, free of cost, for SC/ST/OBC/PWBD candidates who opt for it in their application.
- Biometric data (thumb impression) and photograph capturing will be conducted from the Main Examination onwards for verification.
