Railway Recruitment Board (RRB), Ranchi, has issued a notice regarding the medical examination of candidates shortlisted for Document Verification (DV) for various Junior Engineer posts. Following the DV and subsequent medical examination at Railway Hospitals, some candidates were found either medically unfit as per prescribed categories or below the cut-off mark for their assessed medical fitness by the three-member medical committee.
Candidates who were declared medically unfit have the option to submit an appeal against the decision of the medical committee.
Candidates wishing to appeal against the medical committee's decision must submit their appeal within one month from the date of issue of this information, i.e., by October 23, 2025.
The appeal should be addressed to the Principal Chief Medical Director of the concerned railway (either East Central Railway, Hajipur OR South Eastern Railway, Kolkata) and must reach The Member Secretary, Railway Recruitment Board, Railway Offices Complex, Chutia, Ranchi-834001, Jharkhand. Appeals can be sent by Speed Post or delivered by hand on any working day.
