DV Notice for CEN No. 07/2024(MIC)

The Railway Recruitment Board, Gorakhpur has released the schedule for the Verification of Documents, Genuineness of Candidature, and Medical Examination for candidates shortlisted for the post of Scientific Assistant / Training.

Document Verification Schedule

  • Post: SCIENTIFIC ASSISTANT / TRAINING
  • Date and Time: 23-03-2026 at 09:30 Hrs.
  • Total Candidates: 02 (Two)
  • Venue: Office of the Railway Recruitment Board, Railway Station Road, Gorakhpur-273012 (UP)

Instructions for Candidates

  1. E-Call Letter: Candidates must download the e-call letter for document verification from the official RRB Gorakhpur website (www.rrbgkp.gov.in) and produce it at the venue.
  2. Required Documents: Candidates must bring all original documents along with two sets of self-attested photocopies. An original valid & current photo ID proof and Address ID proof, as presented during the CBT, are also required. Certificates not in English/Hindi must be accompanied by a self-attested translated version.
  3. Photographs: Six (6) recent passport-size colour photographs (not more than one month old) are required for DV and Medical Examination.
  4. CBT-1 E-Call Letter: Candidates must also bring the candidate's foil of the e-call letter for CBT-1.
  5. Prohibited Items: Mobile phones are not permitted during Document Verification or Medical Examination.

Medical Examination

  • Candidates must attend a Medical Test after Document Verification.
  • A fee of Rs. 24/- for the medical examination is to be paid at the DV venue.
  • The date and place of the Medical Examination will be communicated during the DV.
  • Candidates should be prepared for a stay of more than 4 days at their own expense.
  • Belongings are not allowed at the Railway Hospitals. Only the Admit Card for the Medical Test and original ID proofs should be carried.

Block Date for Absentee Candidates

  • A final opportunity for candidates who fail to attend the DV on their scheduled date for valid reasons (supported by documentary evidence, such as a University/Government examination or sickness) is provided.
  • Block Date: 03-04-2026 at 10:00 hrs.
  • Venue: Office of RRB Gorakhpur.
  • No fresh e-call letter will be issued; candidates can attend with the same e-call letter.
