3rd Round Document Verification Schedule for Assistant Loco Pilots Against CEN 01/2024

Introduction

The Railway Recruitment Board (RRB), Guwahati has released the schedule for the 3rd round of Document Verification (DV) and Medical Examination for the post of Assistant Loco Pilot (ALP) against CEN 01/2024. A total of 19 candidates have been provisionally shortlisted for this round.

Document Verification Schedule

  • Venue: Office of Railway Recruitment Board, Guwahati, Panbazar, Station Road, Guwahati-781001

  • Reporting Times:
    • Forenoon (FN) Session: 09:00 AM
    • Afternoon (AN) Session: 13:30 PM
  • Block Date for Absentees: 02-02-2026 at 09:30 AM. Candidates who miss their scheduled date may attend on the block date with valid documentary evidence for their absence (e.g., university/government exam admit card, medical certificate).

Important Instructions for Candidates

  1. E-Call Letter: SMS and E-mail alerts are being sent for downloading the e-call letter from the official RRB Guwahati website.
  2. Portal for Uploads: Candidates must upload their signature, latest photograph, and identification marks on the portal: https://oirms-ir.gov.in/rrbdv/. The portal will be active up to the date of DV.
  3. Medical Examination: After the DV, candidates will be sent for a medical examination on the next day at a nominated Railway Hospital under the Northeast Frontier Railway (NFR) jurisdiction. A prescribed medical fee of Rs. 24/- is required. Candidates should come prepared for a stay of three to four days.
  4. Candidature: The candidature of all shortlisted candidates is purely provisional and subject to cancellation at any stage if any inconsistency or malpractice is found.
  5. Disclaimer: Merely being called for DV/Medical Examination does not guarantee an appointment in the Railways. Selection is based purely on merit.
  6. Beware of Touts: The RRB recruitment process is fully computerized. Candidates should beware of touts promising selection through illegal means and are advised to visit official RRB websites for updates.

Documents Required for Verification

Candidates must bring all original documents along with two sets of clear, legible, self-attested A4 size photocopies. The required documents include:

  • Matriculation/High School Certificate (for proof of date of birth).
  • 10+2/Intermediate/Higher Secondary Certificate.
  • University Degree or equivalent.
  • Certificates/diplomas as per the minimum educational qualification specified in CEN 01/2024.
  • Educational certificates must have a date of issue. If the date is after the application closing date, a consolidated mark sheet or individual semester mark sheets showing the result declaration date must be provided.
  • SC/ST Certificate (as per Annexure-I of CEN 01/2024).
  • Valid OBC-NCL Certificate, not older than one year from the date of DV (as per Annexure-II of CEN 01/2024).
  • Non-creamy layer declaration by OBC candidates (as per Annexure-IIA).
  • Income and Asset Certificate for EWS candidates (as per Annexure-III).
  • Income certificate for waiving examination fees for Economically Backward Classes.
  • Original Discharge Certificate for Ex-Servicemen.
  • NOC from the current employer for serving employees.
  • Minority Community Declaration on Non-Judicial Stamp Paper.
  • Legal documents for any formal change of name.
  • J&K Domicile Certificate (if applicable).
  • Decree of Divorce/Judicial separation for divorced/judicially separated women.
  • Death certificate of spouse for widow candidates.
  • Any other relevant certificates.

Other Items to Bring

  • Six passport-size photographs (not older than three months).
  • Upper portion of the CBT e-call letters.
  • A photocopy of both sides of your Aadhaar card.

Failure to produce the required original documents on the scheduled date will lead to the rejection of candidature.
