This notice announces the recruitment of Anganwadi Assistants in the urban and rural areas of Hardoi district. Online applications are invited for these positions.
Vacancy Details
There are a total of 1180 vacant posts for Anganwadi Assistants across various projects/blocks in Hardoi district. The category-wise distribution is as follows:
- General (UR): 645 posts
- Other Backward Caste (OBC): 289 posts
- Scheduled Caste (SC): 246 posts
A detailed list of Gram Sabha/ward-wise vacancies, along with reservation information and complete eligibility criteria, will be displayed on the notice boards of the Collectorate, Vikas Bhawan, Tehsil, and Block Development offices. This information will also be uploaded on the official departmental website.
Important Instructions for Anganwadi Assistant Posts
- Eligibility: Only female candidates are eligible to apply.
- Educational Qualification: The minimum educational qualification is Intermediate, and the maximum is Post-graduate. A merit list will be prepared based on educational qualifications.
- Residency: Applicants must be permanent residents of the specific Gram Sabha/Ward (urban) where the vacant post is located. Applications from other Gram Sabhas/Wards will not be considered valid.
- Nyay Panchayat Eligibility: In cases where no eligible candidate is available in the Gram Sabha/Ward, residents of the concerned Nyay Panchayat will be eligible.
- Age Limit: As of July 01, 2025, candidates must be a minimum of 18 years and a maximum of 35 years of age.
- Date of Birth Proof: The date of birth recorded in the High School mark sheet/certificate will be considered valid.
- Application Mode: Applications must be submitted online only through the departmental website http://upanganwadibharti.in. Offline applications will not be accepted under any circumstances.
- Vacancy Fluctuation: The number of advertised vacant posts may increase or decrease based on special circumstances.

General Instructions for Application
- Application Form: The online application form available on http://upanganwadibharti.in must be filled out carefully and accurately. Applicants are required to upload self-attested copies of their documents, which must be clear and legible.
- Application Rejection: Applications containing errors, incorrect information, false facts, or forged educational documents will be rejected. The complete responsibility for such errors lies with the applicant. No offline corrections will be entertained.
- Category-Specific Applications: Applications for reserved posts will only be considered if the applicant belongs to that specific category. Applications for unreserved posts are open to candidates from any category.
- Reservation Rules: Reservation for Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes, and Other Backward Classes will be implemented as per the relevant government orders.
- Income Certificate: A valid income certificate issued by the competent authority, as per Uttar Pradesh Government Revenue Section-8 order No. 3959/1-9-11-राज0-9 dated 30.09.2011 (as amended), will be accepted, provided its online verification is possible. Future government orders regarding income limits will also be followed. The income limit for Below Poverty Line (BPL) in rural and urban areas will be as per Uttar Pradesh Government Social Welfare Section-2 order No. 22/2015/2123/26-2-2015 dated 14 September, 2015 (as amended).
- Residence and Caste Certificates: Only online digitally signed residence and caste certificates issued by the Tehsildar will be considered valid, provided they can be verified online.
Selection Preference for Anganwadi Assistant Posts
Preference will be given in the following order:
i. Widows (BPL category) residing in the same Gram Sabha/Ward (urban area).
ii. Divorced/Abandoned women (BPL category) residing in the same Gram Sabha/Ward (urban area).
iii. All other BPL candidates residing in the same Gram Sabha/Ward (urban area).
iv. Widows (Above Poverty Line - APL category) residing in the same Gram Sabha/Ward (urban area).
v. Divorced/Abandoned women (APL category) residing in the same Gram Sabha/Ward (urban area).
vi. All other APL candidates residing in the same Gram Sabha/Ward (urban area).
Note: For widows, a death certificate issued by the Gram Panchayat Officer/concerned Nagar Nikay and a certified copy of the family register will be considered valid. For divorced/abandoned women, legal orders issued by the Hon'ble High Court will be accepted.
