Application Fees

Age Relaxation

Age relaxation is permissible for different categories as per government rules. The maximum age for Multi-Tasking Staff is 27 years (General/EWS). Relaxations apply as follows (for Group C posts):

  • SC/ST: 5 years
  • OBC: 3 years
  • PwBD: 10 years
  • PwBD + SC/ST: 15 years
  • PwBD + OBC: 13 years
  • Departmental Candidates (Regular Govt. servants with 3 years service): Up to 40 years (45 for SC/ST, 43 for OBC)
  • Ex-Servicemen: Period of Military service plus 3 years (Max. 55 years)
  • Meritorious Sports Persons: Up to 5 years (10 for SC/ST, 8 for OBC)
  • Disabled Defence Personnel: 45 years (50 for SC/ST, 48 for OBC)
  • Widows/Divorced Women/Judicially Separated Women: Up to 35 years (40 for SC/ST, 38 for OBC)
  • Contractual Employees (same department): Relaxation in upper age up to the actual time spent as contractual employee (max 5 years, worked for at least 180 days in that particular year).

Reservation Benefits

Reservation benefits are available to SC/ST/OBC/EWS/PwBD/ESM & other special category candidates in accordance with instructions issued by the Govt. of India / Govt. of NCT of Delhi. OBC (Outside) candidates will be treated as Un-reserved (UR) candidates. OBC (Delhi) certificate should be issued on or before the cut-off date (2026-01-15).

Mode of Selection

Selection will be based on the Computer Based Examination. Marks scored will be normalized (if required) using the specified formula. Merit-cum-preference will determine nomination/selection and department allocation.

Post Preferences

A combined examination will be held for all MTS posts. Candidates must submit their preferences for Departments at the time of the online calling of the e-dossier. Failure to do so will result in not being considered for nomination/selection. Preferences, once confirmed, are final and irreversible. Candidates must ensure they meet the eligibility criteria for their opted departments.

How to Apply

  • Candidates must apply online through the DSSSB website: https://dsssbonline.nic.in
  • One-time registration on the DSSSB portal is mandatory.
  • Candidates must upload a recent, clear color photograph with a plain white or off-white background (full face, front view, eyes open). Blurred or illegible photographs will lead to rejection.
  • No requests for changing/correction in any particulars of the application form (including category) will be entertained after submission.

Important Instructions

  • Candidates are advised to submit online applications well before the closing date to avoid last-minute technical issues.
  • Multiple registrations or applications will lead to the cancellation of candidature.
  • Prohibited items (calculators, mobile phones, etc.) are not allowed in the examination hall.
  • Dress Code for Examination: Light clothes with half sleeves (without big buttons, brooches/badges, flowers), slippers, or sandals with low heels (no shoes).
  • In case of any discrepancy in English, Hindi, Urdu, and Punjabi versions of the advertisement, the English version will be treated as final.
  • The DSSSB reserves the right to cancel or modify the advertisement or part of it at any stage.
  • Any form of misconduct will lead to the cancellation of candidature and legal action.
