This notice is issued in accordance with Government Order No. -1/1092245/2025/3313/58-1-2025(1917687) dated 17.09.2025.

Application Details

Online applications are invited from eligible female candidates for vacant Anganwadi Helper posts in Child Development Projects operating in Sonbhadra district, including Babhani, Chatura, Chopan, Dudhi, Myorpur, Nagwan, Robertsganj, and Shahar. Applications must be submitted through the departmental website: https://upanganwadibharti.in.

Important Instructions

  1. Eligibility: Only female candidates are eligible for the advertised posts.
  2. Educational Qualification: Minimum Intermediate (12th pass) or equivalent. Merit will be prepared based on the highest educational qualification, up to post-graduation.
  3. Application Mode: Only online applications will be accepted. Offline applications will not be considered under any circumstances.
  4. Application Deadline: The last date for online application is December 06, 2025, until 12:00 AM.
  5. Age Limit: Applicants must be between 18 and 35 years of age as on July 01, 2025. The date of birth recorded in the High School mark sheet and certificate will be considered valid.
  6. Preference (Poverty Line): Preference will be given to widowed/legally divorced/abandoned women from Below Poverty Line (BPL) families residing in the same Gram Sabha/Ward (urban areas).
  7. Documents for Preference:
    • For widows: Death certificate issued by the Gram Panchayat Officer/concerned Nagar Nikay and a certified copy of the family register will be valid.
    • For divorced/abandoned women: A legal order issued by the Hon'ble High Court will be valid.
  8. Preference (Above Poverty Line): If no eligible candidates as per point 6 are found, preference will be given to widowed/legally divorced/abandoned women from Above Poverty Line (APL) families residing in the same Gram Sabha/Ward (urban areas).
  9. General Preference: If no eligible candidates as per points 6 and 8 are found, preference will be given to women from BPL families residing in the same Gram Sabha/Ward.
  10. Residence and Caste Certificates: Only online digitally signed residence and caste certificates issued by the Tehsildar will be valid, subject to online verification.
  11. Application Submission: Applications must be filled carefully and correctly online using the format available on the departmental website https://upanganwadibharti.in. Self-attested, clean, and legible copies of documents, as mentioned in the online form, must be uploaded.
  12. Disqualification: Any errors in the application, incorrect facts/data, or forged educational documents (marks/total marks) will lead to immediate cancellation of candidature. Candidates will be solely responsible. No offline applications for corrections will be considered.
  13. Income Certificate Guidelines: According to Government Order No. 22/2015/2123/26-2-2015 dated 14.09.2015 (as amended) from the Social Welfare Department, U.P. Government, the annual income limit for rural areas is Rs 46080.00 and for urban areas is Rs 56460.00. Online verification of digitally signed income certificates issued by the Tehsildar is possible.
  14. Family Restriction: Not more than two women from the same family can be appointed as Anganwadi Worker/Helper in one Anganwadi Center.
  15.
