The Haryana Staff Selection Commission (HSSC) invites online applications from Common Eligibility Test (CET) Group-C qualified candidates for direct recruitment to Group C (Steno) posts in various Departments, Boards, and Corporations of the Haryana Government.

Note: Candidates who previously applied against Advt. 10/2024 must submit a fresh application for this advertisement.

Application Fee

No fee is required to be deposited by any candidate for applying against any post(s).

Eligibility and Certificate Dates

  • BCA/BCB/EWS Candidates: Supporting Certificate must be issued on or after 2025-04-01 and on or before the closing date.
  • DSC/OSC Candidates: Supporting Certificate must be issued after 2024-11-13 and on or before the closing date.
  • ESM Family Members: Eligibility Certificate must be issued/renewed on or after 2025-02-03 and on or before the closing date.

Selection Process

The recruitment process will consist of two stages:

Stage-I: Stenography Skill Test

  • This test is qualifying in nature.
  • The syllabus and criteria are mentioned in Appendix-C-I of the notification.

Stage-II: Written Examination

  • Total MCQs: 100
  • Total Marks: 100
  • Duration: 1 Hour 45 Minutes
  • Mode: Offline (OMR based), Bilingual (English & Hindi)
  • Minimum Qualifying Marks:
    • General Category: 50%
    • Reserved Category: 40%
  • Marking Scheme: There is no negative marking for wrong answers. However, failing to fill any of the five circles for a question will result in a deduction of one mark.

Vacancy Details and Qualifications

Common Essential Qualifications for all posts:

  1. Hindi or Sanskrit as one of the subjects in Matric or Higher Education.
  2. Age: 18-42 years. Age relaxation is applicable as per Haryana Government instructions.

Group 1: Steno-Typist (Hindi)

  • Pay Scale: FPL-2
  • Total Posts: 208
  • Qualification: 10+2/10+2 1st Division/Vocational or Graduation. Hindi Shorthand at 64 wpm and transcription at 11 wpm (mistakes should not exceed 8%).

Group 2: Steno-Typist (English) & Other Posts

Group 3: Steno-Typist/Stenographer (Both Languages)

How to Apply

  1. Applications must be submitted online through the official URL: https://adv032026.hryssc.com.
  2. Candidates are advised to read the instructions carefully before filling the online application form.
  3. All required documents must be uploaded before the final submission.
  4. No changes will be allowed after the final submission of the application form.
  5. Candidates should take a printout of the final application form for their records.

Documents to be Uploaded

Candidates must upload scanned copies of the following documents (as applicable):

  • All educational qualification certificates (Matriculation onwards).
  • Latest colored photograph with a white background, clearly mentioning the date and name of the candidate.
  • Scanned signature.
  • Scanned copy of Aadhar Card.
  • Haryana Bonafide Resident certificate.
  • Caste certificate (DSC/OSC/BCA/BCB/EWS).
  • PwBD certificate.
  • ESM/Dependent of ESM certificates.
  • Experience certificate, if applicable.
  • Undertaking as per Annexure IX.
