Introduction

This notice informs the general public that, in accordance with Government Order No. 1/1092245/2025/3313/58-1-2025 (1917687) dated September 17, 2025, online application forms are invited for direct recruitment to vacant Anganwadi Assistant posts on an honorarium basis. These positions are available in the child development projects operating in urban and rural areas of Sitapur district.

Detailed information, including Gram Sabha/Ward-wise distribution and reservation, along with complete eligibility criteria, will be displayed on the notice boards of the Collectorate, Vikas Bhawan, Tehsil, and Vikas Khand offices of the district. It will also be uploaded on the departmental website: http://upanganwadibharti.in.

Special Instructions for Eligibility and Application

  1. Only female candidates are eligible for the posts advertised in this notice.
  2. For vacant Anganwadi Assistant posts, the merit list will be prepared based on a minimum educational qualification of Intermediate and a maximum educational qualification of Postgraduate.
  3. Applicants must be permanent residents of the Gram Sabha/Ward (urban) of the vacant posts. Applications from other Gram Sabhas/Wards will not be considered valid.
  4. The applicant's age, as of July 01, 2025 (cut-off date), should be a minimum of 18 years and not more than 35 years.
  5. The date of birth recorded in the High School mark sheet and certificate will be considered valid for age verification.
  6. Application forms for the posts advertised in this notice will only be accepted online through the departmental website http://upanganwadibharti.in within the stipulated time frame. Offline applications will not be accepted or considered under any circumstances.

Important Dates

  • Online applications will be accepted from November 11, 2025, to December 01, 2025, until midnight.

General Instructions

  • The number of vacant posts advertised in this notice may be subject to change (decrease or increase) under special circumstances.
  • Detailed application forms and information, including eligibility criteria and the application process, are available on the departmental website: http://upanganwadibharti.in. Further information can be obtained from the Child Development Project Office of the respective Vikas Khand or the District Program Officer (Child Development Department) office in Vikas Bhawan during office hours on working days.
  • If any error, fact, data, or incorrect/forged marks/total of educational records are found in the application, the candidature will be cancelled. Applicants will be solely responsible for such discrepancies. Offline applications for error correction will not be considered.

Income, Caste, and Domicile Certificates

  • Income Certificate: As per Government Order No. 22/2015/2123/26-2-2015 dated September 14, 2015, issued by the Social Welfare Department-2, U.P. Government, the annual income limit is Rs. 46,080.00 for rural areas and Rs. 56,460.00 for urban areas. Online verification of digitally signed income certificates issued by the Tehsil will be required. (Only income certificates issued by the competent authority as per Government Order No. 3959/1-9-11-Raj0-9 dated 30.09.2011 {as amended} issued by the Revenue Department-9 of Uttar Pradesh Government, which can be verified online, will be valid).
  • Caste and Domicile Certificates: Only residence and caste certificates issued by the Tehsil with online digital signatures, which are verifiable online, will be considered valid.

Selection Preference Order for Anganwadi Assistant Posts

The selection preference will be given in the following order:

  1. Widowed BPL (Below Poverty Line) applicants from the same Gram Sabha/Ward (urban area).
  2. Divorced/Abandoned BPL applicants from the same Gram Sabha/Ward (urban area).
  3. BPL applicants from the same Gram Sabha/Ward (urban area).
  4. Widowed APL (Above Poverty Line) applicants from the same Gram Sabha/Ward (urban area).
  5. Divorced/Abandoned APL applicants from the same Gram Sabha/Ward (urban area).
  6. APL applicants from the same Gram Sabha/Ward (urban area).

Note:

  • For widowed applicants, only certificates issued by the Gram Panchayat Officer/concerned Nagar Nikay and a certified copy of the family register will be valid.
  • For divorced/abandoned applicants, only a legal/court order will be valid.
