On the recommendations received from the Hon'ble Committee and by the order of the Hon'ble Chief Justice of the High Court of Bombay, the proposed list of transfers of Judicial Officers is being published.

Important Instructions

  1. A detailed Notification of the postings will follow.
  2. All officers under orders of Annual General Transfer must leave their present posting in consultation with the Principal District Judges of their respective stations. They should leave charge during the vacation period to ensure they can take charge at their new station on the date of re-opening before office hours.
  3. Courts will reopen after vacation on 8th June, 2026.
  4. Judicial Officers may forward any representations against their posting through the link provided on the Judicial Officer's Portal on the official website of Bombay High Court. This facility will be available from 23.02.2026 to 06.03.2026. Representations received after this period will not be considered.
  5. Transferred Judicial Officers are directed to finalize judgments in all cases where hearings have concluded and endeavor to dispose of all part-heard cases before handing over charge.
  6. (*) Judicial Officers transferred on their request are not entitled to Transfer Grants/Allowances.
  7. Except for the above, representations from all other Judicial Officers are rejected.
  8. (#) Judicial Officers transferred to specific posts (e.g., Presiding Officer, School Tribunal; Secretary, District Legal Services Authority; Registrar, etc.) must leave their charge in consultation with the High Court.
