Introduction
This notification is issued to inform the general public about the recruitment of Anganwadi Assistants in the urban and rural areas of Hamirpur district, Uttar Pradesh. Applications are invited for vacant posts on a honorarium basis in Child Development Projects. The recruitment process is in accordance with Government Order No. -1/1092245/2025/3313/58-1-2025 (1917687) dated September 17, 2025. Detailed Information
Gram Sabha/ward-wise details of posts, reservations, and complete eligibility criteria will be displayed on the notice boards of the Collectorate, Vikas Bhawan, Tehsil, and Block offices in the district. This information will also be uploaded on the departmental website http://upaganwadibharti.in.
Special Instructions for Eligibility and Application
- Only female candidates are eligible.
- The minimum educational qualification for Anganwadi Assistant is Intermediate (10+2) or equivalent. Merit will be prepared based on marks obtained up to Post-Graduation.
- Applicants must be residents of the concerned Gram Sabha/Ward (urban). If no eligible candidate is available in the Gram Sabha, then a permanent resident of the concerned Nyay Panchayat is required.
- Applicant's age as of 01.07.2025 (cut-off date) must be between 18 and 35 years. No relaxation for upper age limit.
- Date of birth will only be considered as per the High School mark sheet and certificate.
- Applications for the advertised posts will only be accepted online through the departmental website http://upaganwadibharti.in within the specified timeframe. Offline applications will not be considered under any circumstances.
- Applications will be accepted from November 22, 2025, to December 12, 2025, until midnight.
- The number of vacant posts advertised may increase or decrease under special circumstances. Detailed forms, procedures, and information regarding eligibility and application for the above posts are available on the departmental website http://upaganwadibharti.in. For more information, applicants may contact the Block Child Development Project Office or the District Program Officer (Child Development Department) at Vikas Bhawan during working hours.
- If any error, false information, data, or incorrect marks/grades in educational records are found in the application, the candidature will be rejected. The applicant will be solely responsible. No offline corrections will be considered, so attached documents must be clearly legible.
- Candidates must thoroughly read Government Order dated September 17, 2025, before applying. Print out the application form and verify it with original documents. Incorrect entries will lead to the rejection of the application. Filling in the center name and center code is mandatory.
- The determination of the BPL (Below Poverty Line) category will be as per Government Order No. 22/2015/2123/26.02.2015 dated September 14, 2015 (as amended) issued by the Social Welfare Section-2 of the Uttar Pradesh Government. Only digitally signed income certificates issued by the Tehsil will be valid and verifiable online. Regarding income certificates, Government Order No. 3959/1-9-11-10-9 dated September 30, 2011 (as amended) issued by the Revenue Section-9 of the Uttar Pradesh Government will apply, and only income certificates issued by a competent authority which can be verified online will be valid.
- For caste and residence certificates, only digitally signed residence and caste certificates issued by a competent authority which can be verified online will be valid.
Preference Criteria for Anganwadi Assistant Posts
- First Preference: Widows/divorced/abandoned women below the poverty line (BPL) residing in the same Gram Sabha/Ward (urban area) will be given preference in order.
- Second Preference: If no such BPL widow/divorced/abandoned candidate is found, then women below the poverty line residing in the same Gram Sabha/Ward will be preferred.
- Third Preference: If no BPL candidate is found, then widows/divorced/abandoned women above the poverty line residing in the same Gram Sabha/Ward will be given preference in order.
- Fourth Preference: If no such candidate is found, then women above the poverty line residing in the same Gram Sabha/Ward will be considered.
- Proof for Widow Status: Only certificates issued by the Gram Panchayat Officer/concerned Municipal Body and a certified copy of the family register will be considered valid.
- Proof for Divorced/Abandoned Status: Only legal orders issued by the Hon'ble Court will be considered valid.
- Family Restriction: Two women from the same family cannot be appointed as Anganwadi Worker and Assistant in the same Anganwadi center.
Important Note
The entire selection process will be conducted strictly in accordance with Government Order No. -1/1092245/2025/3313/58-1-2025(1917687) dated September 17, 2025. Any deviation will result in the cancellation of the application, for which the applicant will be solely responsible.
