Details of Posts, Pay, Grade, Vacancy, Age, Qualification, and Experience

Group 'B' Posts

  1. Assistant Research Officer (Pharmacognosy)

    • Pay Level: 7 (Rs. 44,900-1,42,400)
    • Vacancies: 01 (UR)
    • Maximum Age: 30 years and below (Age relaxation up to 5 years for government servants as per Central Government orders).
    • Essential Qualification: Master's degree in Science (Botany / Medicinal plants) or M. Pharma (Pharmacognosy) from a recognized University/Institute.
  2. Staff Nurse

    • Pay Level: 7 (Rs. 44,900-1,42,400)
    • Vacancies: 09 (03 UR, 04 OBC, 01 SC, 01 EWS)
    • Maximum Age: Not exceeding 30 years (Age relaxation for government/undertaking/autonomous bodies employees and other categories as per Central Government orders).
    • Essential Qualification (Option 1):
      • a) B.Sc. (Hons.) Nursing/B.Sc. Nursing from an Indian Nursing Council recognized University or Institute OR B.Sc. (Post certificate)/Post Basic B.Sc. Nursing from an Indian Nursing Council recognized University or Institute.
      • b) Registered as a Nurse or Nurse and Mid-wife (RN or RN&RM) with State/Indian Nursing Council.
      • c) Six months' experience in a minimum fifty-bedded hospital after acquiring the educational qualification.
    • Essential Qualification (Option 2):
      • a) Diploma in General Nursing & Midwifery from an Indian Nursing Council recognized Institute/Board or Council.
      • b) Registered as a Nurse or Nurse and Mid-wife (RN or RN&RM) with State/Indian Nursing Council.
      • c) Two years' experience in a minimum fifty-bedded hospital after acquiring the educational qualification.
  3. Medical Laboratory Technologist (MLT)

    • Pay Level: 6 (Rs. 35,400-1,12,400)
    • Vacancies: 28 (12 UR, 08 OBC, 04 SC, 02 ST, 02 EWS)
    • Maximum Age: Not exceeding 35 years
    • Essential Qualification: Bachelor's degree in medical laboratory science from a recognized University/Institution with 2 years of relevant experience.

Group 'C' Posts

  1. Junior Medical Laboratory Technologist (JMLT)

    • Pay Level: 5 (Rs. 29,200-92,300)
    • Vacancies: 01 (UR)
    • Maximum Age: Not exceeding 28 years
    • Essential Qualification: 10 + 2 with Science Subject and DMLT from any Government Recognized Institution with 1 year relevant experience.
    • Desirable Qualification: Degree in Medical Laboratory Science.
  2. Junior Stenographer

    • Pay Level: 4 (Rs. 25,500-81,100)
    • Vacancies: 03 (01 UR, 01 SC, 01 OBC)
    • Maximum Age: 18-27 years (Age relaxation up to 40 years for Government servants as per Central Government orders).
    • Essential Qualification:
      • a) 12th class pass or equivalent from a recognized Board or University.
      • b) Skill Test Norms on Computer: Dictation of 10 minutes @ 80 words per minute. Transcription: 50 minutes (English) or 65 minutes (Hindi).

Notes on Vacancies and Age Limit

  • The number of vacancies and categories are subject to variation.
  • 02 posts are reserved for PwD candidates (preferably one for visually impaired and one for Hearing Impaired).
  • The crucial date for determining the age limit shall be the last date for receipt of applications (2025-11-26).

Concessions and Relaxations

  • Reservation for SC, ST, EWS, OBC-NCL, PwD, and Ex-Serviceman will be as per Government of India Directives.
  • Age Relaxation:
    • SC & ST candidates: 5 years
    • OBC-NCL candidates: 3 years
    • PwD (UR) candidates: 10 years
    • PwD (OBC-NCL) candidates: 13 years
    • PwD (SC/ST) candidates: 15 years
  • Central Government Civilian Employees are entitled to age relaxation up to 40 years (45 years for SC/ST) for Group 'C' posts under specific conditions.
  • Reserved category candidates must submit original caste/disability certificates in the prescribed format. OBC (Non-Creamy Layer) certificates must be obtained within 1 year before the closing date.

Selection Procedure

  • Selection for all Group “B” and “C” posts will be based solely on performance in an online Computer Based Test (CBT) of 100 marks.
  • Questions will be bilingual (Hindi and English).
  • Marking Scheme:
    • Each question carries one mark.
    • There will be 0.25 negative marking for each wrong answer.
  • Merely satisfying eligibility conditions does not guarantee a call for the online exam or interview.
  • Tie-breaking rules will be applied if candidates score identical marks:
      1. Elder in age will be placed higher.
      1. More marks in the main subject (Sl No 1 of syllabus) will be placed higher.
      1. More marks in Sl.No.2 of syllabus will be placed higher.
      1. Earlier essential degree/diploma/certificate or medical degree internship completion will be placed higher.
      1. Higher final aggregate marks in the degree/diploma/certificate will be placed higher.
  • Normalization methodology may be used for CBT if conducted in multiple shifts.

    • Research methodology, Biostatistics, Ethics, Regulatory & Drug Development/Discovery: 20 Marks
    • General awareness, General Aptitude and Reasoning, Information Technology and Computing: 10 Marks
  • Staff Nurse (Total: 100 Marks)
    • All subjects of Nursing course as per Indian Nursing Council syllabus: 70 Marks
    • General Awareness, Aptitude and Test of Reasoning: 20 Marks
    • Working knowledge of Information Technology and Computing: 10 Marks
  • Medical Laboratory Technologist (MLT) (Total: 100 Marks)
    • All subjects of degree in medical laboratory technology: 70 Marks
    • Research aptitude, Medical ethics, topics related to quality control & lab management, biomedical waste management etc.: 20 Marks
    • General awareness and information technology: 10 Marks

Group 'C' Posts

  • Junior Stenographer (Total: 100 Marks)

    • General English: 25 Marks
    • General Intelligence: 25 Marks
    • Numerical Aptitude: 25 Marks
    • General Awareness: 25 Marks
  • Jr Medical Laboratory Technologist (JMLT) (Total: 100 Marks)

    • 10+2 Science subjects and diploma in Medical Laboratory Technology (All subjects): 70 Marks
    • General Awareness, Aptitude and Test of Reasoning: 20 Marks
    • Working knowledge of Information Technology and Computing: 10 Marks
  • Duration of CBT: 90 Minutes for all candidates (except PwD) for both Group "B" and Group "C" posts.

  • Stenography Skill Test guidelines for calculating errors and word counts are provided. Candidates opting for Hindi Stenography will need to learn English Stenography.

Application Fee

  • For Group “B” & “C” Posts:
    • Unreserved / OBC / EWS: Rs. 500/-
    • SC / ST / PwD / Female: Nil
  • A convenience fee will be charged in addition to the above.
  • Fee is non-refundable and will not be reserved for future recruitment processes.

Cities of Examination

  • Computer Based Test (CBT) will be conducted at: Delhi, Mumbai, Chennai, Kolkata, and Guwahati.
  • CCRH reserves the right to cancel or add more cities/centres.

How to Apply

  • Candidates must apply online through the official CCRH websites: www.ccrhindia.ayush.gov.in, www.ccrhonline.in, or www.eapplynow.com.
  • No other means/mode of application submission will be accepted.
  • The online registration process involves three steps:
    • Step 1: Fill basic details (name, father's name, DOB, address), upload photo and signature, and generate an Application ID.
    • Step 2: Apply for a post, providing post-specific information (category, academic details, experience).
    • Step 3: Make payment of application fees and/or generate Registration Slip.
  • Candidates must have a valid personal e-mail ID and Mobile Number.
  • No changes/edits will be allowed after final submission of the application.

General Instructions

  • Applicants must be citizens of India.
  • The posts carry all India transfer liability.
  • Eligibility will be determined as of the closing date of application.
  • No documents/certificates or application forms are required to be sent to CCRH by post.
  • The Director General, CCRH, reserves the right to cancel the recruitment.
