Minimum Essential Qualifications

JSA2603 Junior Secretariat Assistant (Stores & Purchase) 10+2 / XII or its equivalent and Proficiency in Computer Typing Speed.
JSA2604 Junior Secretariat Assistant (Finance & Accounts) 10+2 / XII or its equivalent with Accountancy as a subject and Proficiency in Computer Typing Speed.
MTS2605 Multi-Tasking Staff Essential: Matriculation or equivalent pass. Desirable: Intermediate (12th Class) pass.

Application Fee

  • Fee Payable: Rs. 500/- (Rupees Five Hundred only) for each post code applied for.
  • Exempted Categories: Women / SC / ST / PwBD / Ex-Servicemen Candidates.
  • Payment Mode: Only through STATE BANK COLLECT.

Scheme & Syllabus of Examination

Junior Stenographer

  • Mode of Examination: OMR Based or Computer Based Objective Type Multiple Choice Examination.
  • Standard of Examination: 10+2 / XII.
  • Written Examination:

    • Time Allotted: 2 Hours.
  • Proficiency Test in Stenography (Qualifying):
    • Dictation for 10 minutes in English or Hindi at a speed of 80 WPM.
    • Transcription Time: 50 minutes (English), 65 minutes (Hindi).

Junior Secretariat Assistant (GEN / S&P / F&A)

  • Mode of Examination: OMR Based or Computer Based Objective Type Multiple Choice Examination (Two Papers).
  • Paper I (Qualifying): Mental Ability Test. 100 Questions, 200 Marks. Time: 90 Minutes. No negative marking.
  • Paper II (Merit Deciding): General Awareness (50 Qs, 150 Marks) & English Language (50 Qs, 150 Marks). Time: 1 Hour. Negative Marking: One negative mark for every wrong answer.
  • Proficiency Test (Qualifying): Computer Typing Speed Test.
    • English: 35 w.p.m. (10500 KDPH).
    • Hindi: 30 w.p.m. (9000 KDPH).

Multi-Tasking Staff

  • Mode of Examination: OMR Based or Computer Based Objective Type Multiple Choice Examination (One Paper).
  • Standard of Examination: Matriculation.
  • Written Examination:

Age Limit & Relaxation

  • The minimum age for applying is 18 years as on the last date of application (02.03.2026).
  • Permissible relaxation in upper age limit is as follows:
    • SC/ST: 5 years
    • OBC (NCL): 3 years
    • PwBD (Unreserved): 10 years
    • PwBD (OBC-NCL): 13 years
    • PwBD (SC/ST): 15 years
    • Ex-Servicemen: 3 years after deduction of military service.
    • Widows / Divorced women: Up to 35 years (40 for SC/ST).
    • CSIR Departmental Candidates: No age limit.

  3. Candidates must remit the application fee of Rs. 500/- (if applicable) through SB Collect and upload the e-receipt.
  4. Candidates should upload a recent passport size photograph, signature, and other relevant documents as specified in the advertisement.
