Final Result Declaration for Sub-Inspector in Delhi Police and CAPFs Examination, 2024
The Staff Selection Commission has declared the final result for the Sub-Inspector in Delhi Police and Central Armed Police Forces Examination, 2024. Previously, 22244 candidates (1885 Female, 20283 Male) were shortlisted for the Medical Examination. Due to various court orders and debarments, a total of 22246 candidates were scheduled for Medical Examination, Document Verification (DV), and Medical Examination (DME/RME) conducted by CAPFs from 2025-09-15 to 2025-09-27.

Cut-off Details for Male Candidates
Category-wise break-up of the 4841 male candidates (excluding 12 vacancies for departmental candidates) selected, along with cut-off details, are provided in the detailed notice. In cases where candidates are selected against horizontal vacancies (e.g., Ex-Servicemen), total marks of such candidates are reflected against their respective horizontal category.
Tie-Breaking Criteria
In cases where more than one candidate secured equal aggregate marks (Paper-I + Paper-II), the tie was resolved by applying the following methods, in order:
- Total marks in Paper-II.
- Date of birth (older candidates placed higher).
- Alphabetical order of the names of the candidates.
Important Notes
- Departmental Vacancies (Delhi Police): The final result against departmental vacancies will be processed by Delhi Police, based on the performance in Computer Based Examinations, after the Commission's final result declaration.
- Withheld Results: Results of 94 candidates (List-2) have been withheld due to various Court Cases. Results of 26 candidates (List-3) have been withheld due to other reasons.
- Debarred Candidates: 30 candidates have been debarred from the Sub-Inspector in Delhi Police and Central Armed Police Forces Examination, 2024 due to malpractices. Roll numbers of these candidates are listed in the official notice.
- Court Case: The final result is subject to the final outcome of WP No. 40316 of 2025 (Abhishek Khatana Vs Union of India and Others) before the High Court of Madhya Pradesh at Gwalior.
- Provisional Candidatures: Some candidates included in the Select List have provisional candidatures. Concerned User Departments will thoroughly check their eligibility at the time of nomination.
- Correspondence: If a selected candidate does not receive correspondence from the Commission or the User Department within 6 months of the result declaration, they must notify the User Department immediately.
- Detailed Marks: Detailed marks of selected and non-selected candidates will be made available on the Commission's website shortly.
