Document Verification (Round-4) for Technician Grade-III

This notice pertains to the Document Verification (Round-4) for Technician Grade-III, based on the Computer-Based Test (CBT) conducted against CEN 02/2024. Candidates for various categories, including Part Panels 1 & 2, were provisionally shortlisted for DV and Medical Examination.

Important Information

  • Candidature is purely provisional and liable to cancellation at any stage if discrepancies or irregularities are found.
  • Candidates are advised to thoroughly read and understand all instructions and information provided in the Detailed Centralized Employment Notification No. 02/2024 and its corrigendum.
  • Serving employees (including those undergoing induction training/probation) in any Central/State Government Department, including Railways or Public Sector Undertakings, must produce a No Objection Certificate (NOC) from their employer on the date of document verification.

Document Verification (DV) & Medical Examination (ME) Schedule

  • Scheduled Dates for DV: 19-11-2025 (Candidates should check their roll numbers under scheduled dates listed in the official notice).
  • Place of DV: Railway Recruitment Board Office, Railway Colony, Near Railway Station, Chandigarh.
  • Reporting Time: 09:30 AM.
  • Medical Examination: Medical Examination will be conducted on the next working day following DV at Divisional Hospital DLI or Ambala Cantt.
  • Block Date for Absentees: 01-12-2025. This is a second and final chance for candidates with valid reasons who fail to report on their regular DV date.

E-Call Letter Download

  • The link for downloading the E-Call letter for DV will be made live on the official website of RRB Chandigarh (www.rrbcdg.gov.in) 4 days prior to the scheduled DV date for each shortlisted candidate.
  • Candidates are advised to download, print, and carefully read all instructions provided in the E-Call letter.
  • Free travel authority will be provided to eligible SC/ST candidates as per extant rules.

Uploading Softcopies & Personal Data

  • A portal link for uploading latest photo, signature, identification marks, Aadhaar number, and scanned relevant original documents (education, caste, NOC, experience, etc.) will be provided on the official website of RRB 15 days prior to the scheduled DV date.
  • Follow all instructions and FAQs on the portal and upload all required documents carefully.
  • Initial Uploads: Aadhaar Card, passport size photograph, signature, and two identification marks.
  • Other Required Documents (to be uploaded as single PDF files):
    • e-Call Letter issued during CBT.
    • Certificate and Marksheet of Matriculation (10th Class).
    • Community Certificate (SC/ST/OBC/EWS) – must be valid as on the date of online application submission and currently valid.
    • Affidavit for spelling discrepancies in names (candidate, father's, mother's, or other documents).
    • Divyang (PwBD) candidates' Disability Certificate along with Unique Disability Identity Card (UDID).
    • Diploma/Degree and all related Mark Sheets (Semester wise).
    • Any other additional certificates/documents under the 'Additional Documents' category.
  • Candidates are advised to keep all scanned copies in their Google Drive or pen drive.

Hardcopies for DV (Documents to Bring)

Candidates must bring the following at the time of their Document Verification:

  • Printout of E-Call letter along with valid/latest Identity proofs (preferably 2 originals) like Aadhaar, PAN, EPIC, Passport, DL, or any other Govt. I-Card for smooth entry to the DV hall.
  • All relevant documents in original and two sets of self-attested photocopies.
  • At least 6 passport size photographs (white background, not more than one month old).
  • Candidate's foil of e-call letter for CBT-I & copy of application form.
  • Rs. 24/- in cash for Medical Examination Fee.

General Instructions

  • Certificates not in Hindi/English must be produced with an attested Hindi/English translation.
  • Candidates must ensure they meet all eligibility criteria. Any additional documents not related to the candidates not producing their original certificate on the date of DV will result in cancellation of candidature.
  • Entry to the DV hall will be allowed after verifying the E-Call letter with ID proofs.
  • Candidates found indulging in malpractices will be disqualified.
  • Medical examination is a crucial step. Candidates are required to undergo examination at divisional hospitals. They must present the original valid & current ID proof for medical examination. Charges for medical tests, if any, are not applicable, but a fee of Rs. 24/- is collected for the medical examination itself.

Be aware of touts who may promise jobs for money. The selection process is fully computerized and merit-based. Refer to the official websites of RRBs for regular updates.
