Result Announcement

The Union Public Service Commission (U.P.S.C.) has announced the results of the Combined Geo-Scientist (Preliminary) Examination, 2026, which was held on February 8, 2026. Candidates who have qualified are now eligible to appear for the Combined Geo-Scientist (Main) Examination, 2026.

Main Examination Details

  • Examination Dates: 20th & 21st June, 2026

The candidature of the qualified candidates is purely provisional and subject to satisfying the prescribed eligibility conditions. Candidates are advised to refer to the Rules of the Combined Geo-Scientist Examination, 2026, issued by the Ministry of Mines, available on the Commission's website.

E-Admit Cards and Further Information

  • E-admit cards for the Main Examination will be available for download from the Commission's website approximately one week before the commencement of the examination.
  • Marks and cut-off marks for the Preliminary Examination will be uploaded to the website after the entire examination process is complete, i.e., after the declaration of the final result.
  • No requests for a change of Centre/discipline for the Main Examination will be entertained.

For any information or clarification regarding the examination/result, candidates can contact the U.P.S.C.'s Facilitation Counter in person or by telephone on working days between 10:00 A.M. and 5:00 P.M.

Note: Mobile phones are banned on the campus of U.P.S.C. examination halls.
