This notice is from the Railway Recruitment Board, Guwahati, regarding the provisional shortlisting of candidates for the Teaching Skill Test / Performance Test and Translation Test. This shortlisting is based on the performance of candidates in the Computer Based Test (CBT) conducted from 2025-09-10 to 2025-09-12 for various posts under Centralized Employment Notification (CEN NO 07/2024) for Ministerial and Isolated Categories.

Key Details

  • CBT Dates: 2025-09-10 to 2025-09-12.
  • Scorecard Viewing: Candidates can view their individual result/scorecard and question paper with the final answer key by logging into official RRB websites using their Registration Number and Date of Birth. This facility will be available for fifteen days from the date of this notice (until 2025-12-23). Scorecards for other categories will be made available after shortlisting for Document Verification.

Shortlisting Process

  • Candidates bearing the listed Roll Numbers (in ascending order and not in merit-wise) have been provisionally shortlisted.
  • Results for all other notified posts that do not require a Translation Test, Performance Test, or Teaching Skill Test will be declared at the time of publishing the shortlisting for Document Verification.
  • Number of Shortlisted Candidates:
    • For Translation Test: 10 times the notified vacancies.
    • For Teaching Skill Test/Performance Test: 2.5 times the notified vacancies, subject to the availability of qualified candidates.
  • If a candidate appeared in more than one category/shift with distinct question papers, they have been shortlisted as per their merit in the respective category.

Skill Test / Translation Test Information

  • The Translation Test, Teaching Skill Test, or Performance Test will be held at the location specified in the e-call letter.
  • All shortlisted candidates will be informed about the actual date via official websites, SMS, and email (as provided in their application). Candidates are advised to regularly visit the RRB's official website for updates.

Important Instructions

  • The candidature of all shortlisted candidates is purely provisional and is subject to cancellation at any stage of recruitment if any inconsistency, deficiency, discrepancy, or malpractice is detected.
  • Merely being called for the Translation Test / Teaching Skill Test / Performance Test does not entitle a candidate to appointment in the Railways.
  • While utmost care has been taken in preparing the result, RRB reserves the right to rectify any inadvertent errors or typographical mistakes. Correspondence on this account will not be entertained.
  • All recruitment activities by Railways are purely merit-based, and candidates are not required to make any payment to any authorities for these tests.
  • Warning: Candidates are advised to beware of touts who may mislead them with false promises of selection. The recruitment process in RRB exams is fully computerized, and selection is based purely on candidate merit.
