Recommendation for Assistant Director of Operations in DGCA

UNION PUBLIC SERVICE COMMISSION has released a notice regarding the recommendations for the post of Assistant Director of Operations in the Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA), Ministry of Civil Aviation. The original advertisement (No. 03/2024, Vacancy No. 24020301610) dated 10.02.2024, was for fifty-one vacancies.

The Commission has recommended forty-two candidates for appointment based on the Recruitment Test held on 23.03.2025 and interviews conducted from 08.09.2025 to 12.09.2025. The list of recommended candidates is annexed to the original notice.

  • NOTE I: 01 OBC and 01 EWS vacancy have been kept vacant due to pending court cases.
  • NOTE II: The above result is subject to the outcome of OA No. 3478/2025 and 3500/2025 filed in Hon’ble CAT, PB, New Delhi.
  • NOTE III: Certain candidates have been recommended for six months' training.
  • NOTE IV: 07 EWS posts have been kept vacant due to the non-availability of suitable candidates in the merit order list.
  • NOTE V: The marks information of all candidates will be uploaded on the Commission's website after the completion of the recruitment process or within thirty days, whichever is later.
