Corrigendum Regarding CGLE 2025 (Tier-I) Result

This notice is a corrigendum to the result write-up of the Combined Graduate Level Examination (CGLE) 2025 (Tier-I), which was uploaded on the Commission's website on 18.12.2025. Marks for qualified and non-qualified candidates were made available on 09.01.2026.

Following the result declaration, several representations were received from candidates who, despite scoring more than the cut-off marks for their respective categories, were not included in the published lists (List-I, II, or III).

Upon comprehensive examination, the Commission found that List-I, II, and III were in order. However, an inadvertent error was identified in the table under para 5, specifically for “List-3 - Candidates shortlisted in CGLE (Tier-I) for appearing in Tier-II (Paper-I) (for all posts Other than JSO and Statistical Investigator Grade-II)”. The 'cut-off marks' and 'number of candidates available' for some categories were incorrect.

Other Clarifications

  1. It is important to note that this correction has not resulted in any addition or deletion from the previously published List-III and does not affect the result of any candidates.
  2. Representations regarding the normalization process for candidates rescheduled to take the CGLE 2025 Tier-I exam on 14th October 2025 have been addressed. Based on the recommendations of a Committee of Experts, these candidates have been clubbed with their original shifts, and their marks have been normalized accordingly.
  3. All other contents of the Result Write-up dated 18.12.2025 for CGLE (Tier-I) remain unchanged.
