Introduction

The Railway Recruitment Board (RRB), Ranchi has announced the results for the 2nd Stage Computer Based Test (CBT-II) for the posts of Non-Technical Popular Categories (NTPC) (Under-Graduate) against CEN 06/2024. This test was conducted on 20th December 2025.

Shortlisting for CBTST

Candidates bearing the roll numbers listed in the official notification have been provisionally shortlisted to appear in the Computer Based Typing Skill Test (CBTST). The shortlisting is based on the merit of candidates in the 2nd Stage CBT, provided they have scored more than the cut-off marks in CBT-I for their respective communities.

Candidates who availed reservation benefits (OBC(NCL)/SC/ST/EWS, PwBD, and ExSM) will continue to be considered under these categories for all subsequent stages of the recruitment process.

Next Stages

The subsequent shortlisting for Document Verification will be based on the combined performance of candidates in both the 2nd Stage CBT and the CBTST (as applicable). The date for the CBTST will be announced in due course.

Viewing of Scorecard

Candidates can view their individual results and scorecards by logging into the RRB portal using their Registration Number and Date of Birth. This facility will be available from 23.01.2026, 07:00 PM onwards.

Upon logging in, candidates can also view their question paper along with the correct answers.

Important Information

  • The candidature of all qualified candidates for the CBTST is purely provisional and is subject to cancellation at any stage if any inconsistency or malpractice is found.
  • Merely being called for the CBTST does not entitle a candidate to an appointment in the Railways.
  • RRB reserves the right to rectify any inadvertent typographical or printing errors.
  • A total of 159 candidates have been shortlisted.
  • Candidates are advised to regularly visit the official RRB websites for updates.
  • Beware of Touts: The recruitment process is fully computerized, and selection is based solely on the merit of the candidates. Do not fall for false promises of a job for illegal consideration.
