Important Instructions and Eligibility Criteria

  1. Eligibility: Only female candidates are eligible to apply for these advertised posts.
  2. Educational Qualification: The minimum educational qualification for all vacant posts of Anganwadi Worker is Intermediate (12th pass) or equivalent. The merit list will be prepared based on the marks obtained from Intermediate up to Post-Graduate level.
  3. Residency: The applicant must be a permanent resident of the ward/gram sabha where the vacancy exists. If no eligible candidate is available from the ward/gram sabha, then a permanent resident of the concerned Nyaya Panchayat will be considered. For urban areas, the ward number/name mentioned in the online domicile certificate issued by the Tehsil is mandatory.
  4. Certificates: Only online digitally signed domicile and caste certificates issued by the Tehsil will be considered valid, subject to online verification.
  5. Age Limit: The minimum age for applicants for Anganwadi Worker posts is 18 years, and the maximum age is 35 years. The cut-off date for age calculation is July 01, 2025.
  6. Priority to BPL Category: Preference will be given to applicants belonging to the BPL (Below Poverty Line) category, as per Government Order No. 22/2015/2123/26-2-2015 dated September 14, 2015 (as amended) issued by the Government of Uttar Pradesh, Social Welfare Section-2.
  7. Income Certificate: An income certificate issued by a competent authority, as per Government Order No. 3959/1-9-11-Raj0-9 dated 30.09.2011 (as amended) issued by the Government of Uttar Pradesh, Revenue Section-9, will be valid, subject to online verification.
  8. For Widows: A death certificate issued by the Gram Panchayat Officer/concerned Nagar Nikay and a certified copy of the family register will be valid.
  9. For Divorced/Abandoned Women: A legal order issued by the Hon'ble Court will be valid.
  10. Application Mode: Applications for the advertised posts will be accepted only online through the departmental website https://www.upanganwadibharti.in within the stipulated time frame. Offline applications will not be accepted or considered under any circumstances.
  11. Document Upload: Self-attested, clear, and readable copies of all documents mentioned in the online form must be uploaded to https://www.upanganwadibharti.in. Any error in the application, or any incorrect or forged facts/figures/educational documents will lead to the cancellation of candidature.
