Self-Slot Selection for Junior Engineer (Civil, Mechanical and Electrical) Examination, 2025 (Paper-I) and Sub-Inspector in Delhi Police and Central Armed Police Forces Examination, 2025 (Paper-I)

Important Notice Regarding Self-Slot Selection

The Staff Selection Commission (IT Section) has issued a notification regarding the self-slot selection process for candidates appearing in the Junior Engineer (Civil, Mechanical and Electrical) Examination, 2025 (Paper-I) and Sub-Inspector in Delhi Police and Central Armed Police Forces Examination, 2025 (Paper-I).

The Commission has extended the facility allowing candidates to choose their examination city and date. To avail this facility, candidates are required to log in to their candidate portal and exercise their choice for slot selection for the respective examinations.

Slot Selection Schedule

The windows for slot selection will be open as per the following schedule:

• Junior Engineer (Civil, Mechanical and Electrical) Examination, 2025 - Paper-I: From 2025-11-10 to 2025-11-13 (until 11:00 PM).
• Sub-Inspector in Delhi Police and Central Armed Police Forces Examination, 2025 - Paper-I: From 2025-11-17 to 2025-11-21 (until 11:00 PM).

Important Instructions

1. Candidates should note that once an option for slot selection is submitted, it will be considered final. No further changes to the selected slot will be permitted, and no representation in this regard will be entertained by the Commission.
2. If a candidate fails to exercise the slot selection option within the prescribed time limit, the system will automatically allocate an available slot in any of the cities opted during the application window or based on availability. The decision of the Commission regarding the slot allocation will be final and binding.
