This notice announces the provisional panel for Level-5 under CEN No. 02/2024.

Provisional Panel Details

  1. Based on the performance in the Computer Based Test (CBT) and Document Verification cum-Medical Examination conducted on 2025-11-03 by the Railway Recruitment Board, Gorakhpur, for notified posts of Technician-I, Signal (Level-05) under CEN 02/2024.
  2. A total of 02 (Two) candidates have been provisionally shortlisted to the panel for TECHNICIAN GRADE I SIGNAL, Category-1 (NER).

Important Instructions and Information

  • Tie-Breaking Criteria: In case two or more candidates secure the same marks, their merit position is determined by age (older person placed higher). If age is also the same, alphabetical order (A to Z) of the name is used to break the tie.
  • Provisional Candidature: The candidature of all candidates in this provisional Part panel is purely provisional and is liable to be cancelled if any inconsistency/deficiency in the data furnished in the online application or any malpractice comes to notice at any stage. Placement in this panel does not automatically guarantee appointment.
  • Error Rectification: RRB reserves the right to rectify any inadvertent errors or typographical/printing mistakes in the provisional Part panel.
  • Forwarding of Names: The names of candidates on this Provisional Part panel are being forwarded to the Principal Chief Personnel Officer/North Eastern Railway/Gorakhpur. Further action on their appointment, including verification and fulfillment of eligibility criteria (e.g., production of Original/Current Certificates of Educational/Technical Qualification, Date of Birth, Caste certificates, Past Character & Antecedents/Affidavits), will be taken by the Principal Chief Personnel Officer, N.E. Railway.
  • Affidavit Requirement: All candidates are required to submit an affidavit confirming the genuineness and validity of their Degree/Diploma and Caste certificates.
  • Warning Against Touts: Candidates are advised to beware of touts who may attempt to misguide them with false promises of selection for jobs through illegal means. The RRB recruitment process is fully computerized, and selection is based purely on candidate merit.
