Shortlisting of Candidates for Round-1 Document Verification for Assistant Loco Pilot (CEN 01/2024)

The Railway Recruitment Board (RRB), Mumbai has provisionally shortlisted candidates for Round-1 Document Verification (DV) and Medical Examination for the post of Assistant Loco Pilot under CEN 01/2024.

Reporting and Schedule

Candidates are advised to report to the Railway Recruitment Board, Mumbai, Divisional office compound, Mumbai Central, Mumbai: 400 202, Maharashtra, as per their scheduled date and time. E-call letters can be downloaded from the RRB's website, and candidates will be notified via SMS/E-mail.

Document Verification Dates:

  • 07-04-2026 at 08:30 AM
  • 08-04-2026 at 08:30 AM
  • 09-04-2026 at 08:30 AM
  • 10-04-2026 at 08:30 AM

Block Date: A block date of 28.04.2026 is scheduled for candidates who are absent on their regular DV date. Failure to report on either the scheduled date or the block date will result in the forfeiture of candidature.

Instructions for Candidates

  1. Document Submission: Candidates must bring all original documents along with two sets of photocopies in A4 size as detailed in the CEN and e-call letter.
  2. Document Upload: Candidates must upload clear scanned copies of their documents, passport size photograph, and signature to the RRB Document Verification Portal: https://oirms-ir.gov.in/rrbbv/. The portal will be active 10 days before the respective DV date.
  3. Medical Examination: Following the DV, candidates will be sent for a medical examination at a nominated Railway Hospital on the next day. Candidates should be prepared to stay for more than four days at their own expense.
  4. Medical Fee: A prescribed medical fee of Rs. 24/- must be paid. In rare cases where advanced tests like CT Scans are required and not available at the Railway Hospital, candidates may need to pay the requisite amount at the concerned laboratory/hospital.

Important Information

  • The candidature of all shortlisted candidates is purely provisional and is liable to be cancelled at any stage of recruitment if any inconsistency or malpractice is detected.
  • Merely being called for Document Verification does not entitle a candidate to an appointment in the Railways.
