Eligibility Criteria and Important Instructions

1. Governing Rules: The selection process will be conducted as per the procedure described in the Government Order No. 1/1092245/2025/3313/58-1-2025 (1917687), dated September 17, 2025, by the Child Development and Nutrition Section, Government of Uttar Pradesh.
2. Gender: Only female candidates are eligible for these posts.
3. Educational Qualification: The minimum educational qualification for Anganwadi Helper is Intermediate (12th grade) or its equivalent. The merit list will be prepared based on marks obtained in Intermediate and Post-Graduation. There will be no written examination or interview.
4. Residency: The applicant must be a permanent resident of the ward/gram sabha where the vacancy exists. Applications from residents of other districts or states will be rejected.
5. Age Limit: The applicant's age must be between 18 and 35 years as of the cut-off date, July 1, 2025. The date of birth mentioned in the High School mark sheet and certificate will be considered valid.

Selection Preference Order

The following order of preference will be followed for selection:

Category A (Below Poverty Line - BPL) from the same Gram Sabha/Ward:

1. Widow
2. Legally divorced or deserted woman
3. Other women from BPL families

Category B (Above Poverty Line - APL) from the same Gram Sabha/Ward (if no eligible BPL candidate is found):

1. Widow
2. Legally divorced or deserted woman
3. Other women from APL families

Category C: If no eligible candidate is found in the specified Gram Sabha, the selection will be made category-wise from the concerned Nyaya Panchayat.

Required Documents

• For Widows: Death certificate issued by the Gram Panchayat Officer/concerned Municipal Body and a certified copy of the family register.
• For Divorced/Deserted Women: A valid legal order from a competent court.
• Income Certificate: As per U.P. Government norms, which must be verifiable online.
• Residence & Caste Certificate: Digitally signed certificates issued by the Tehsil, which must be verifiable online.

• The post of Anganwadi Helper is purely temporary and stipend-based. U.P. State Employee Service Rules are not applicable.
