The Union Public Service Commission has announced the results for the recruitment of four Assistant Veterinary Surgeons in the New Delhi Municipal Council.

Essential Qualifications

Candidates are required to have the following qualifications:

  1. A Degree in Veterinary Science and Animal Husbandry or Veterinary Science from a recognized University or Institute.
  2. Registration with the Veterinary Council of India or State Veterinary Council or Union Territory Veterinary Council.

Shortlisting Modalities

  • OBC candidates have been considered eligible subject to providing an undertaking at the time of the interview.
  • The Birth Certificate has not been accepted as a valid proof of date of birth.

A total of 24 candidates have been shortlisted for interviews. Some candidates have been provisionally shortlisted, subject to the submission of deficient documents.

Provisionally Shortlisted Candidates - Condition Remarks

  • Code A: Requires Matriculation/Higher Secondary Certificate/Mark sheet showing DATE OF BIRTH.
  • Code E: Requires an affidavit for any discrepancy in the candidate's self-name in the Online Recruitment Application (ORA) and other documents.
  • Code F: Requires an affidavit for any discrepancy in the candidate's father's name in the ORA and other documents.

Important Instructions

Candidates who wish to represent against their rejection or submit deficient documents must do so by 04.04.2026. Submissions should be sent via email to SOSPC2.UPSC@NIC.IN with the subject line "04 AVS_ROLL.NO". Mails received after this date will not be considered. Non-submission of required documents may lead to the cancellation of candidature.

Note

  • Failure to submit requisite Community Certificates for reservation claims will result in the candidate being considered under the GENERAL Category.
  • Non-submission of deficient documents by provisionally shortlisted candidates may lead to the cancellation of their candidatures.
