The result of the Civil Services Examination, 2024, was declared via Press Note dated 22.04.2025. This initial declaration recommended 1009 candidates, in order of merit, for appointment to IAS, IFS, IPS, and certain other Central Services, Group 'A' and Group 'B', against a total of 1129 vacancies.
In accordance with Rule 20(4) & 20(5) of the Civil Services Examination Rules, 2024, the Commission also maintained a Consolidated Reserve List, ordered by merit below the last recommended candidate for each respective category.
Upon request from the Department of Personnel & Training, the Commission has now recommended an additional 114 candidates from this Reserve List to fill the remaining posts based on the Civil Services Examination, 2024. The breakdown of these 114 candidates is as follows:
These newly recommended candidates will be directly intimated by the Department of Personnel & Training (DOP&T).
It is noted that the candidature of 15 candidates is provisional.
