This notice announces the provisional panel for Level-2, Assistant Loco Pilot (ALP), Category-1, (NER) under CEN No. 01/2024 by the Railway Recruitment Board, Gorakhpur.
Based on performance in the Computer Based Test (CBT), Computer Based Aptitude Test (CBAT), and Document Verification cum-Medical Examination conducted from 14.10.2025 to 16.10.2025, candidates have been provisionally shortlisted for empanelment. A total of 119 candidates have been provisionally shortlisted.
Some candidates have not been included in this result due to various reasons, including shortcomings in submitted documents, not fulfilling prescribed Educational/Technical Qualifications, issues with Biometric Verification, concerns regarding the genuineness of candidature, or being medically unfit in the prescribed medical category.
In cases where two or more candidates secure the same marks, their merit position is determined by age criteria, with older persons placed higher. If age is also the same, the alphabetical order (A to Z) of the name is used to break the tie.
All candidatures in this provisional Part result are purely provisional and are liable to be cancelled if any inconsistency or deficiency in the data furnished in the online application or any malpractice comes to notice. Mere inclusion in the provisional Part result does not entitle a candidate to an appointment in the railway.
While due care has been taken in preparing this provisional Part result, the Railway Recruitment Board reserves the right to rectify any inadvertent errors or typographical/printing mistakes.
The names of the candidates included in this Provisional Part result will be forwarded to the Principal Chief Personnel Officer, North Eastern Railway, Gorakhpur. Further action for appointment will be taken by the Principal Chief Personnel Officer after due verification and ensuring fulfillment of eligibility criteria. This includes the production of Original/Current Certificates for Educational/Technical Qualification, Date of Birth, Caste (EWS, OBC), Past Character, and Antecedents/Affidavits as required by the centralised notification.
All candidates are required to submit an affidavit confirming that their Degree/Diploma certificates and Caste certificates, as applicable, are genuine and valid.
Candidates are advised to be cautious of touts who may attempt to misguide them with false promises of job selection through illegal means. The recruitment process for RRB exams is entirely computerised, and selection is based purely on the merit of candidates.
