This notice pertains to the Document Verification (Round-2) for various categories of Paramedical posts under CEN 04/2024. The list of candidates provisionally shortlisted for DV/ME Round-2 has been published. Previously, the Computer-Based Test (CBT-I) results were published on 2025-08-11, and the Main Panel based on DV Round-1 was published on 2025-10-20. A total of 10 candidates are scheduled for DV Round-2.
The candidature of all shortlisted candidates is purely provisional and is subject to cancellation at any stage of the recruitment process, or thereafter, if any inconsistency, deficiency, or discrepancy is found in the information provided by the candidates in their online application, or if any malpractice is discovered at any stage of the recruitment process. It is important to note that merely being shortlisted or called for Document Verification/Medical Examination does not entitle a candidate to an appointment in the Railways. While every effort has been made to ensure the accuracy of the result, the Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) reserves the right to rectify any inadvertent errors, typographical mistakes, or printing issues.
Shortlisted candidates are advised to thoroughly read and understand all instructions and information provided in the Detailed Centralized Employment Notification No. 04/2024 and its corrigendum. Candidates should also keep a record of all information filled in their application form.
Candidates serving (including those undergoing induction training/probation) in any Central/State Government Department, including Railways or Public Sector Undertakings, must produce an NOC from their employer on the date of Document Verification, failing which their candidature will be cancelled.
The link for downloading the E-Call letter for DV will be made live on the official website of RRB Chandigarh (www.rrbcdg.gov.in) 4 days prior to the scheduled DV date. Candidates are advised to download, print, and carefully read all instructions provided in the E-Call letter. Eligible SC/ST candidates will be provided with free travel authority as per existing rules.
The portal link for uploading the latest photo, signature, identification marks, Aadhaar number, and scanned copies of all relevant original documents (education, caste, NOC, experience, etc.) will be provided on the official website of RRB 15 days prior to the scheduled DV date. Candidates must follow all instructions and read FAQs provided on this portal and upload all required documents carefully.
Candidates must bring all original documents along with two sets of self-attested photocopies of all original documents and 06 passport-size photographs. E-call letters (CBT-I and current DV e-call letter) and 02 copies of caste certificate (if applicable) are also required. If DV call letters are not in English/Hindi, a self-attested translated version is required.
Candidates must report on time at the RRB Chandigarh office. Mobile phones are strictly prohibited. Candidature will be cancelled for those failing to produce original documents. No Traveling Allowance/Daily Allowance (TA/DA) will be paid for attending DV/ME.
Medical examination will be conducted at a medical examination unit in the nominated Railway Hospital starting the next day after DV. Candidates should be prepared for 3-4 days. This facility is available to candidates only and no fee or charge is to be paid to the hospital. Necessary tests, including eye tests, will be conducted. Candidates requiring corrective measures for eye surgery are advised.
