5th Round Document Verification Schedule for Technician-III for CEN 02/2024

Introduction

The Railway Recruitment Board (RRB), Guwahati has released the schedule for the 5th round of Document Verification (DV) for the post of Technician-III under CEN 02/2024. A total of 01 candidate has been provisionally shortlisted for this round.

Schedule and Venue

Candidates are advised to report to the office of the Railway Recruitment Board, Guwahati, Panbazar, Station Road, Guwahati-781001, as per the schedule below:

• DV Date: 23-03-2026
• Session: Forenoon (FN)
• Reporting Time: 09:30 AM

Block Date for Absentee Candidates: 02-04-2026 at 09:30 AM. This is for candidates who could not attend on the scheduled date due to appearing in a University/Government examination or sickness, supported by documentary evidence.

Pre-Verification Formalities

Candidates must upload their signature, latest photograph, and identification marks on the portal: https://oirms-ir.gov.in/rrbdv/. This portal will be active up to the date of the DV.

Important Instructions

• Medical Examination: Following the DV, candidates will be sent for a medical examination at a nominated Railway Hospital on the next day. Candidates should be prepared for a stay of three to four days. A medical fee of ₹24 is payable.
• Provisional Candidature: The shortlisting is purely provisional and is liable to be cancelled at any stage of recruitment if any inconsistency or malpractice is detected.
• No Guarantee of Appointment: Being called for DV and medical examination does not confer any right to an appointment in the Railways.
• Official Website: Candidates are advised to visit the official RRB website www.rrbguwahati.gov.in for regular updates.
• Warning: Beware of touts who may misguide candidates with false promises of selection. The RRB recruitment process is fully computerized and based on merit.

Documents Required for Verification

Candidates must bring all original documents along with two sets of self-attested photocopies in A4 size. The required documents include:

1. Matriculation/High School Examination Certificate for proof of date of birth.
2. 10+2/Inter/Higher Secondary/PUC Certificate (as applicable).
3. University Degree or equivalent.
4. Other certificates/diplomas as per the prescribed educational qualification.
5. Educational qualification certificates (Provisional or Regular) must contain the date of issue. If the issue date is after the application closing date, a consolidated mark sheet with the date of result declaration must be submitted.
6. SC/ST certificate in the prescribed format.
7. Valid OBC-NCL certificate (not older than one year from the date of DV) and non-creamy layer declaration.
8. Income and Asset Certificate for Economically Weaker Sections (EWS).
9. Income certificate for waiving examination fees for Economically Backward Classes.
10. Original Discharge Certificate for Ex-Servicemen.
11. NOC from the current employer for serving employees, with the date of appointment.
12. Medical Certificate for Persons with Disabilities (PwBD).
13. Minority Community Declaration on Non-Judicial Stamp paper.
14. Legal documents in case of a formal name change.
15. J&K Domicile Certificate (if applicable).
16. Decree of Divorce/Judicial separation for divorced/judicially separated women.
17. Death certificate of spouse for widow candidates.
18. Six passport-size photographs (not older than three months).
19. Upper portion of the e-call letters of the CBT.
20. Photocopy of both sides of an Aadhar card.

Failure to produce the required original certificates on the date of DV will lead to the rejection of candidature.
