RRB Chandigarh Technician CEN 02/2024 Document Verification Schedule (Round-6)

Introduction

Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) Chandigarh has released the schedule for the 6th round of Document Verification (DV) and Medical Examination for the posts of Technician Grade-I Signal and Technician Grade-III under CEN 02/2024. This is based on the Computer-Based Test results. The candidature of shortlisted candidates is provisional.

Document Verification Schedule (Round-6)

• Scheduled DV Date: 11-03-2026
• Reporting Time: 09:30 AM
• Place of DV: Railway Recruitment Board Office, Railway Colony, Near Railway Station, Chandigarh.
• Block Date for Absentees: 23-03-2026

Block Date for Absentee Candidates

Candidates who fail to report for DV on the scheduled date (11-03-2026) for valid reasons, such as a University/Government examination or sickness (supported by documentary evidence), will be given a final opportunity. They can attend the DV on the block date, 23-03-2026 (Monday) at 09:30 AM at the RRB Chandigarh office. No fresh e-call letter will be issued for this purpose; candidates must use the same e-call letter downloaded for the regular DV.

Important Instructions for Candidates

E-Call Letter

The E-Call Letter for DV can be downloaded from the official RRB Chandigarh website (www.rrbcdg.gov.in) 4 days prior to the scheduled DV date. Eligible SC/ST candidates will be provided with free travel authority as per rules.

Uploading of Softcopies

A portal for uploading scanned copies of documents will be made available on the RRB website 15 days prior to the scheduled DV date. Candidates must upload:

• Latest photograph, signature, two identification marks, and Aadhaar number.
• e-Call Letter issued during CBT.
• Matriculation (10th Class) certificate and marksheet.
• Community Certificate (SC/ST/OBC/EWS).
• Affidavit for any spelling discrepancies in names.
• Disability Certificate and UDID card for PwBD candidates.
• Diploma/Degree certificates and all related mark sheets.
• Any other required documents.

Documents to Bring for DV (Hardcopies)

Candidates must bring the following items to the DV center:

• Printout of the E-Call Letter.
• Two valid and latest original photo identity proofs (e.g., Aadhaar, PAN, Voter ID, Passport).
• All relevant documents in original along with two sets of self-attested photocopies.
• At least six recent passport-size photographs with a white background (not more than one month old).
• Candidate's foil of the e-call letter for CBT-I and a copy of the application form.
• Rs. 24/- in cash as a fee for the Medical Examination.

Post-DV Medical Examination

After successful DV, candidates will be sent for a medical examination at a nominated Railway Hospital on the next working day. Candidates should be prepared to stay for approximately four days at their own expense. A fee of Rs. 24/- will be collected after the DV for this purpose.
