Engineering Services (Preliminary) Examination, 2026 Results Announced

The Union Public Service Commission (U.P.S.C.) has announced the results for the Engineering Services (Preliminary) Examination, 2026, which was held on 8th February, 2026. Candidates who have qualified are now eligible to appear for the Engineering Services (Main) Examination, 2026.

Main Examination Details

  • Date of Main Examination: 21st June, 2026 (Sunday).
  • Admit Cards: E-admit cards for the Main Examination will be available for download from the Commission's website approximately one week before the examination date.

Important Information for Candidates

  • Candidature Status: The candidature of the qualified candidates is purely provisional and is subject to fulfilling all prescribed eligibility conditions.
  • Examination Rules: Qualified candidates are advised to refer to the Rules of the Engineering Services Examination, 2026, issued by the Ministry of Communications, Department of Telecommunications, and the Examination Notice No. 02/2026 ENGG dated 26.09.2025, available on the official website.
  • Marks and Cut-off: The marks and cut-off marks for the Preliminary Examination will be uploaded on the Commission's website, https://upsc.gov.in, only after the entire examination process, including the Personality Test, is completed.
  • No Change of Centre/Discipline: No requests for a change of examination centre or discipline for the Main Examination will be entertained.
  • Prohibition: Mobile phones are banned within the campus of UPSC examination halls.
