Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification (as on 23.02.2026)

  • Must be a Graduate from a recognized University.
  • Must have a typing speed of not less than 35 words per minute on a computer.

Age Limit (as on 01.01.2026)

  • Minimum Age: 18 years
  • Maximum Age: 32 years
  • Candidates must have been born not earlier than 02.01.1994 and not later than 01.01.2008.

Selection Process

The selection process will consist of four stages:

  1. Stage-I: Preliminary Examination (Qualifying): A Computer-Based Test (Objective Type) of 120 marks with a duration of 120 minutes. There will be a negative marking of 0.25 marks for each wrong answer.
  2. Stage-II: Main Examination (Descriptive): A descriptive test in English language for 100 marks with a duration of 120 minutes.
  3. Stage-III: English Typing Test (Qualifying): A 10-minute test to assess a minimum speed of 35 words per minute.
  4. Stage-IV: Interview: The interview will be for a maximum of 15 marks. There are no minimum qualifying marks.

The final merit list will be prepared based on the marks obtained in Stage-II (Main Examination) and Stage-IV (Interview).

  • General/OBC-NCL/EWS: ₹1500/-
  • SC/ST/PwBD: ₹1300/-
  • The fee can be paid online through UPI, Net Banking, Credit Card, or Debit Card.

  1. Candidates must apply online through the official website of the Delhi High Court.
  2. Applicants should register using a valid email ID and mobile number.
  3. Scanned copies of a recent photograph, signature, and left-hand thumb impression are required to be uploaded as per the specified format and size.
  4. The application form must be submitted before the last date, 23.02.2026 (2300 hours).
