Self-Slot Selection for Computer Based Examination of Multi-Tasking (Non-Technical) Staff and Havaldar (CBIC & CBN) Examination, 2025

The Staff Selection Commission has announced the facility for self-slot selection for the Computer Based Examination for Multi-Tasking (Non-Technical) Staff and Havaldar (CBIC & CBN) Examination, 2025.

Examination Schedule

The examination is scheduled to be held from 4th February 2026 onwards.

Slot Selection Facility

Candidates can choose their preferred examination city and block of dates by logging into the candidate portal.

Important Dates for Slot Selection:

  • Start Date: 16.01.2026
  • End Date: 25.01.2026 (11:00 PM)

Note: The choice once submitted will be considered final, and no further changes will be permitted.

Admission Certificate and City Intimation

  • City Live Date: The examination city will be made live on 30.01.2026.
  • Admission Certificates: Will be generated 2-3 days before the date of the candidate's examination.

For Candidates Failing to Select a Slot

Candidates who fail to exercise the slot selection option within the prescribed dates can confirm their willingness to appear for the examination through the Feedback Module.

  • Last Date to Confirm via Feedback Module: 28.01.2026 (11:00 PM).

Important: If a candidate fails to confirm their attendance through either the slot selection window or the Feedback Module, it will be assumed that they are not intending to appear for the examination, and their Admission Certificate WILL NOT BE GENERATED. The Commission's decision regarding slot allocation will be final and binding.
