Educational Qualification for PSI Cadre: Possess a Bachelor's degree obtained from any university established or incorporated by or under the Central or a State Act in India or any other educational institution recognized as such, or declared to be deemed as a university under section 3 of the University Grants Commission Act, 1956, or possess an equivalent qualification recognized by the Government.

Educational Qualification for Lokrakshak Cadre: Have passed the Higher Secondary School Certificate Examination from the Secondary and Higher Secondary Education Board or possess an equivalent qualification recognized as such by the Government.
