Schedule for Document Verification & Genuineness of Candidature and Medical Examination (Round-IV)

This notice pertains to candidates shortlisted under CEN No. 02/2024 (Technician-I) for Document Verification (DV) and Medical Examination.

Document Verification Details

Important Instructions for Candidates

1. E-Call Letter: Candidates must bring the e-call letter for document verification, which can be downloaded from the official website of RRB Gorakhpur (www.rrbgkp.gov.in). The e-call letter, along with one original valid & current photo ID proof and Address ID proof (as presented during CBTs), must be produced at the entry of the DV venue. Candidates are advised to read the list of original documents required, as specified on the backside/2nd page of the e-call letter.
2. Documents Required: All original documents, along with two sets of self-attested photocopies of all documents, must be produced at the time of DV. If certificates are not in English/Hindi, self-attested translated versions (in Hindi/English) must be provided. Documents must adhere strictly to prescribed formats. No additional time will be granted for non-production of original certificates on the scheduled DV date, and such candidatures will be liable for forfeiture/cancellation.
3. Photographs: Candidates must bring six (6) passport-size colour photographs, which should NOT BE MORE THAN ONE MONTH OLD, for DV and Medical Examination. Also, bring the Candidate's foil of the e-call letter for CBT-1.
4. Prohibited Items: Mobile phones are strictly not permitted during document verification (DV) or Medical Examination.
5. Medical Examination: After document verification, candidates must attend a Medical Test (Examination). A fee of Rs. 24/- towards the medical examination will be collected at the DV venue. The exact date and place of the Medical Examination will be communicated at the time of DV, and the Admit Card for Medical Test will be issued then. Candidates should be prepared to stay for more than 4 days for DV/Medical Examination at their own cost.
6. Belongings: Candidates are advised not to bring their belongings to the Railway Hospitals as no storage facility is available. They should carry only the Admit Card for Medical Test (Examination), one original valid & current Photo ID, and Address ID proof. No fees will be charged for the medical examination at the Hospital itself. Therefore, candidates are advised not to carry cash.

Candidates who fail to report for Document Verification on their regularly assigned dates due to valid reasons (e.g., appearance in a University/Government examination or sickness) will be given a second and final opportunity on this block date. No other reason for absence will be considered. No fresh e-call letter will be issued; candidates can attend with the original e-call letter uploaded for the regular Document Verification. Failure to report on the scheduled date without valid documentary evidence will lead to the rejection of candidature.
