Note: No. of * in the above table indicates the No. of posts reserved for PwD in it. All the above posts are for English Medium Schools only.
Not exceeding 30 years. Upper age limit is relaxable as per Orders/guidelines issued by the Government of India from time to time.
a) Senior Secondary (Class XII pass) with at least 50% marks and 2 years Diploma in Elementary Education (by whatever name known) OR Senior Secondary (Class XII pass) with at least 45% marks and 2 years Diploma in Elementary Education (by whatever name known) in accordance with the NCTE (Recognition Norms and Procedure) Regulations 2002. OR Senior Secondary (Class XII pass) with at least 50% marks and 4 years Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.El.Ed.). OR Senior Secondary (Class XII pass) with at least 50% marks and 2 years Diploma in Education (Special Education). OR Graduation and 2 years Diploma in Elementary Education (by whatever name known).
b) Should have passed CTET or Teacher Eligibility Test (TET) applicable for the post of Primary School Teacher conducted by the Central Govt. or any State Govt. in India in accordance with the Guidelines framed by the NCTE for the purpose.
c) The Candidate should have studied in the concerned medium at Secondary level.
a) Graduation and 2 years Diploma in Elementary Education (by whatever name known) OR At least 50% marks either in Graduation or in Post Graduation and B.Ed. OR Graduation with at least 45% marks and Bachelor in Education (B.Ed.) in accordance with the NCTE (Recognition Norms and Procedure) Regulations issued from time to time in this regards. OR Senior Secondary (Class XII pass) with at least 50% marks and 4 years Bachelor in Elementary Education (B.El.Ed.). OR Senior Secondary (Class XII pass) with at least 50% marks and 4 years B.A.Ed./B.Sc.Ed./B.Com.Ed. OR Graduation with at least 50% marks and B.Ed. (Special Education).
b) The candidate should have passed CTET or Teacher Eligibility Test (TET) applicable for the post of Upper Primary School Teacher conducted by the Central Govt. or any State Govt. in India in accordance with the Guidelines framed by the NCTE for the purpose.
c) The Candidate should have studied in the concerned medium at Secondary level. (Not Applicable for language subjects such as Gujarati, Marathi, Hindi, English, etc.)
Note: Provided that minimum percentage of marks in graduation shall not be applicable to those incumbents who had already taken admission to the Bachelor of Education or Bachelor of Elementary Education or equivalent course prior to the 29th July, 2011.
Additional Notes for Upper Primary School Teacher:
PH suitability and reservation will be given to only the following categories of Orthopedically handicapped or Locomotor Disability or Cerebral palsy (40% & above): a) OL: One leg affected (R or L). b) OA: One Arm affected (R or L). (Subject to condition that capability of writing with one arm which exist) c) MW: Muscular Weakness and Limited Physical endurance. d) OLA: One leg and one arm Affected. (Subject to condition that capability of writing with one arm which exist)
