Schedule for Document Verification and Medical Examination for the posts of Assistant Loco Pilot

This notice outlines the schedule for Document Verification (DV) and Medical Examination for candidates provisionally shortlisted for the post of Assistant Loco Pilot by the Railway Recruitment Board, Ranchi.

  1. The list of candidates shortlisted for Document Verification for the post of Assistant Loco Pilot was previously published on the official website of RRB, Ranchi on 01.10.2025.
  2. Candidates whose Roll Numbers are given in the Annexure (not included in this summary as per instructions) are provisionally shortlisted for Document Verification, Genuineness of Candidature, and Medical Examination. Candidates must report as per their scheduled date and time to the office of Railway Recruitment Board, Railway Offices Complex, Chutia, Ranchi- 834001.
  3. SMS/email alerts will be sent to candidates' registered mobile/email IDs for downloading their e-call letters from the link provided on RRB's website.
  4. Candidates are advised to thoroughly read the detailed instructions in the DV e-call letter and bring all required original certificates/documents.
  5. Candidates called for DV must produce all original documents along with two sets of self-attested A4 size photocopies, as specified in the CEN and the e-call letter issued for DV.
  6. After completing DV, candidates will proceed to Medical Examination at nominated Railway Hospitals under the jurisdiction of RRB, Ranchi. Candidates should be prepared to stay for four to five days. A prescribed medical fee of Rs. 24/- must be paid. No other charges are required for the medical examination at Hospitals/Health Units. In rare cases where advanced investigations (like CT Scan, Ultrasound, refractive eye surgery tests) are needed and facilities are unavailable at the Railway Hospital/Health Unit, candidates may need to pay the concerned laboratory/Hospital directly.
  7. Candidates must bring six (6) passport-size colour photographs, not more than one month old. Also bring the candidate's foil of the e-call letter for CBT-1, CBT-2, and CBAT.
  8. In case of variations in the spelling of name/father's name between the online application and original certificates/documents, candidates must submit a relevant affidavit executed before a Magistrate or Notary on required stamp papers, confirming that the person referred to in the certificate(s) is one and the same.
  9. Candidates who fail to appear on their scheduled date must appear on the block date specified in the Annexure. Failure to report for Document Verification on either the scheduled or block date will result in rejection of candidature, and no correspondence will be entertained. No fresh e-call letter will be issued for the block date.
  10. No additional time will be granted to candidates who fail to produce their original certificates/NOC for serving employees/relevant affidavit on the scheduled DV date. Such candidatures will be forfeited/cancelled/rejected.
  11. All shortlisted candidatures are purely provisional and subject to cancellation at any stage of recruitment if any inconsistency, deficiency, discrepancy, or malpractice is detected.
  12. Mere shortlisting or calling a candidate for Document Verification/Medical Examination does not guarantee an appointment in the Railways.
  13. RRB reserves the right to rectify any inadvertent errors or typographical mistakes. No correspondence on this matter will be entertained.

Important Information

  • Beware of touts who may mislead candidates with false promises of selection. The RRB recruitment process is fully computerized, and selection is based solely on merit. Visit the official RRB website for regular updates.
  • Important Instruction: Candidates are advised to upload clear images of all required documents, a colour scanned copy of their passport size photograph, and their signature on the RRB Document Verification portal: https://oirms-ir.gov.in/rrbdv/. The portal will be active for uploading 7 to 10 days prior to the DV date and will close on the DV date.
