Online applications are invited for direct recruitment to the vacant posts of Anganwadi workers in urban and rural areas of Baghpat district, as per Government Order No. 1/1092245/2025/3313/58-1-2025(1917687) dated September 17, 2025. Eligibility Criteria and Application Instructions

  1. Only female candidates are eligible to apply for these posts.
  2. The minimum educational qualification for the post of Anganwadi worker is Intermediate (12th grade) or equivalent. Merit will be prepared based on the highest educational qualification.
  3. The applicant's age must be between 18 and 35 years as of July 01, 2025. The date of birth mentioned in the High School mark sheet and certificate will be considered valid.
  4. Preference will be given to widow/legally divorced/abandoned women from BPL (Below Poverty Line) families residing in the same Gram Sabha/Ward (urban area) as the advertised post.
  5. For widows, a certified copy of the death certificate and family register issued by the competent authority of the concerned Gram Panchayat/Nagar Nikay will be valid. For legally divorced/abandoned women, a legal order issued by a competent court will be valid.
  6. If no widow/divorced/abandoned women from BPL families are found, preference will be given to widow/divorced/abandoned women above BPL from the same Gram Sabha/Ward (urban areas).
  7. The income limit for BPL will be as per Government Order No. 22/2015/2123/26-2015 dated September 14, 2015 (as amended) for rural and urban areas.
  8. If candidates from the above categories are not available, preference will be given to women from families above the poverty line residing in the same Gram/Ward.
  9. Income, Caste, and Domicile Certificates must be digitally signed by the competent authority of the concerned Tehsil and verifiable online.
  10. For Income Certificates, those issued by the competent authority as per Government Order No. 3959/1-9-11-Raj0-9 dated 30.09.2011 (as amended) will be valid and verifiable online.
  11. The last date for submitting online applications is till midnight of November 30, 2025.
