Recruitment of Specialist Cadre Officers on Regular / Contract Basis

State Bank of India (SBI) invites online applications from eligible Indian citizens for appointment to Specialist Cadre Officers posts on a Regular and Contract Basis. Interested candidates are requested to apply online through the bank's official website.

Vacancy Details and Eligibility Criteria

1. Assistant Vice President (IS Audit) - Contractual Post

  • Total Vacancies: 12 (SC-2, ST-1, OBC-4, UR-5)
  • Age Limit (as on 31.01.2026): Minimum 27 years, Maximum 45 years
  • Educational Qualification:
    • Essential: BSc/B.E./B.Tech. in Computer Science / Software Engineering / IT / Electronics or equivalent with minimum 50% score. OR
    • BCA/MCA. OR
    • M.Tech./MSc in Computer Science / Software Engineering / IT / Electronics or equivalent with minimum 50% score.
  • Experience (as on 31.01.2026): Minimum 6 years' experience in BFSI / IT / Information Security Consultancy with 3 years in IS Audit / Cyber Security Audit / Information Security Consultancy.
  • Annual CTC: Up to Rs. 50.00 Lacs (bifurcated into Fixed Pay & Variable Pay in 85:15 ratio).
  • Contract Period: 3 years, extendable for 2 more years.

2. Deputy Manager (IS Audit) - Regular Post (MMGS-II)

  • Total Vacancies: 43 (SC-9, ST-3, OBC-10, EWS-4, UR-17)
  • Age Limit (as on 31.01.2026): Minimum 25 years, Maximum 35 years
  • Educational Qualification: Same as Assistant Vice President (IS Audit).
  • Experience (as on 31.01.2026): Minimum 3 years' experience in BFSI / IT / Information Security Consultancy with 2 years in IS Audit / Cyber Security Audit / Information Security Consultancy.

3. Deputy Manager (Chartered Accountant-Internal Audit) - Regular Post (MMGS-II)

  • Total Vacancies: 61 (SC-11, ST-6, OBC-14, EWS-5, UR-25)
  • Age Limit (as on 31.01.2026): Minimum 21 years, Maximum 35 years
  • Educational Qualification: Chartered Accountant (C.A.) with active membership of ICAI.
  • Experience (as on 31.01.2026): Minimum 1 year post-qualification experience in Statutory / Internal / Concurrent Audit of Banks.

Remuneration

  • Regular Posts (Deputy Manager): Pay Scale 64820-2340/1-67160-2680/10-93960. The official will be eligible for DA, HRA, CCA, Provident Fund, NPS, LFC, Medical Facility, etc., as per rules.
  • Contractual Post (AVP): Annual CTC up to Rs. 50.00 Lacs, negotiable based on experience and current emoluments.

Selection Process

  • The selection will be based on shortlisting and interview.
  • The shortlisting committee will decide the parameters for calling candidates for the interview.
  • The interview will carry 100 marks. Qualifying marks will be decided by the Bank.
  • For the contractual post of AVP (IS Audit), CTC negotiation will be conducted at the time of the interview.
  • A merit list will be prepared based on the scores obtained in the interview only.

  • SC/ST/PwBD candidates: No fee

General Instructions

  • Candidates must ensure they fulfill the eligibility criteria as of the specified date.
