This notice pertains to the results of the 2nd Stage Computer Based Test (CBT-II) and the subsequent shortlisting of candidates for the Computer Based Aptitude Test (CBAT) and Typing Skill Test (TST) for Non-Technical Popular Categories (Graduate) posts, against CEN No. 05/2024.
The 2nd Stage Computer Based Test (CBT-II) was conducted by the Railway Recruitment Boards on 13th October 2025 for NTPC (Graduate) posts under CEN 05/2024.
Candidates whose Roll Numbers are listed in the original notice have been provisionally shortlisted to appear in the CBAT/TST. Shortlisting is based on merit in the 2nd Stage CBT. Category-wise shortlisting for CBAT and TST considers the candidate's marks in CBT-2, provided these marks are higher than the cut-off in CBT-1 for their respective community.
Candidates shortlisted for CBAT/TST who availed reservation benefits (OBC(NCL)/SC/ST/EWS, PwBD, and ExSM) will continue to be considered under their respective categories for all subsequent stages of the recruitment process.
The shortlisting for Document Verification will be based on the performance of candidates in both the 2nd Stage CBT and CBAT/TST (as applicable).
The CBAT/TST for the provisionally qualified candidates for posts under CEN 05/2024 is tentatively scheduled for the 5th week of December 2025.
Candidates can view their individual scores and qualifying status for CBAT/TST by logging in through the link provided on the official website of RRBs. To access, candidates must enter their Registration Number and Date of Birth. Upon login, candidates can also view their question paper along with the correct answers.
The candidature of all qualified candidates for CBAT/TST is purely provisional. It is liable to be cancelled at any stage of recruitment or thereafter, in case of any inconsistency/deficiency in the data furnished or any malpractice. Merely being called for CBAT/TST does not entitle a candidate to appointment in the Railways.
Candidates are warned to beware of touts who may mislead them with false promises of securing jobs through illegal means. The recruitment process in RRB exams is fully computerized, and selection is based solely on the merit of candidates. Please visit the official websites of RRBs for regular updates and information.
